Very friendly staff on check in, directed to the room which was a short trek across the car park, wasnt very well signposted
Arrived in the room, very big room. Found a lot of the surfaces were dusty, the tea / coffee station hadn’t been replenished

Geen hotelovernachting maar een restaurant bezoek. We hadden een voucher voor een drie gangen diner voor twee personen voor 25€. De menukaart voor deze aanbieding was uitgebreid. We kozen de geitenkaas salade als voorgerecht en deze was prima. Een flink stuk geitenkaas, lauwwarm, lekker. Daarna nam mijn man de kip saté (drie spiezen) met frites, kroepoek en atjar. Lekker. Voor mij fish and chips en dat was een hele hap. Twee mooie stukken smakelijke vis in een krokant dun laagje met veel frites. Te veel voor mij. Lekkere frisse salsa erbij. Het was best druk in het restaurant (op donderdag) en er bleek ook nog een grote groep achter te zitten, dat betekende dat we wel heeeeel lang (bijna drie kwartier)moesten wachten op de desserts: sorbet met vers fruit en crème brûlée met twee bollen ijs. Dit werd heel verrassend gecompenseerd door onze drankjes van de rekening te halen. Buitengewoon aardig gebaar. De bediening kreeg van ons een mooie fooi hiervoor. Alles toch voor herhaling vatbaar, want lekker gegeten! Kleinigheidje: een heel donker parkeerterrein. Gelukkig heeft de phone een zak lamp. 😉

Was hier voor een studiedag in de buurt. Kamer was bijzonder groot, goed bed, eenvoudige maar leuke inrichting, badkamer prima in orde. Ruime parkeerplaats. Goed ontbijt (in een kerk), lekker restaurant voor lunch en diner. Ik was onder de indruk van de vriendelijkheid van de medewerkers, zowel aan het onthaal als in het restaurant. Info voor wandeling mocht iets concreter zijn.

Bericht aan het Fletcher managment van De Reiskoffer, laat op jullie website het echte gebouw zien waar jullie de gasten laten logeren en niet een mooie foto van het gebouw van het restaurant en onthaal. Het is echt een treurig zicht als je het gebouw ziet waar de kamers zijn gevestigd het is NIET de realiteit die op de website getoond wordt, natuurlijk kan je nu zeggen we vermelden het tijdens de boeking, dat is juist jullie vermelden "een bijgebouw" dit gebouw doet denken aan sociale appartementen en is niet zo charmant als jullie laten uitschijnen op jullie site.

meest vriendelijke personeel ooit: receptie, Bistro, keuken, poetsers, allen zonder uitzondering. Kamers zeer ruim en nette badkamer. Culinair zeker in orde. Mooie wijnkaart (of bier voor wie dit betere lust) met correcte prijzen binnen de gezellige Bistro. En ik kan de borrelplank zeker aanraden. Enig minpuntje: kamer rook een beetje naar tabaksgeur, waarschijnlijk van vorige gasten die regels niet respecteerden. Oudenbossch is de moeite waard om te bezoeken
