The room is small. The location is slightly off the city center and the subway is convenient. There are no shops or restaurants around. Catch up with the annual lighting festival, the downtown area is lively and there are enough people.

I am 5ft3, 55 kgs and felt claustrophobic in that bathroom, you could hardly move around. Awful. We, as a family, are used to staying in basic hotels when we are only having a stop over during our journeys but this one was beyond basic. As said before tiny bathroom, the mattress on our bed was terrible (collapsing on one side). We booked a family room for the 4 of us and once all the beds were made we literally could not moved around the room, no space to sit or walk around. Dreadful. It was clean though so that is one thing. The parking was gated and you could walk in 15 mins to a McDonald's, the area felt safe enough. The staff was very pleasant but the evening staff could not speak English properly. Only one towel per person no hand towel or floor mat.

Hotel Charlemagne is a great hotel. The location was in an esplanade district directly in the route of all public transport. We took a tram to the train station, and the bus to the tourist sites- direct route. There is plenty to eat in the area, with a mall about a 10 min walk. Across the street is a self service all included laundry, very helpful for long trips. Some restaurants in the area close outside the peak hours- mostly 3-6. The staff was very friendly and the bar tender made a great mojito.

I recently stayed at the Eklo Lyon hotel and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. This makes it incredibly easy to get to the city center and explore all that Lyon has to offer. Additionally, the hotel has a great vibe, with a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The breakfast at the hotel was also a highlight. There were plenty of options available, with something to suit every taste. From fresh pastries to eggs, everything was delicious and well-prepared. Overall, I highly recommend the Eklo Lyon hotel. The combination of its clean and comfortable rooms, convenient location, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast make it a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Lyon.

The hotel is very efficient, it is not warm. Parking is closed at night. Good litter, well white flats. Low price (50 euros per family room) makes the defects acceptable (such as the giant spider in the bathroom 😱). Ideal for a family who wants to take a step on the holiday road.

15min walk from Lyon Part Dieu. Due to construction works, walking and dragging luggage became challenging and not as direct. There was a huge Westfield Mall where you can shop and dine. 10min walk to car rental office. There was a pickup area for us to load up luggage to our rental car just beside the hotel. Check-in process was a bliss. Staff was friendly. Sanitisers were always available. Room was relatively much smaller than Paris hotel. Barely enough space for 2x large luggage. Nevertheless, room was clean and dust-free. Toilet had decent space. Recommended for as a stopover hotel. Probably a night stay.

The hotel is a very good hotel and is a good hotel. The rooms are sparate in the 1970s, which is more glacial despite the heat in the ground. Traces of humidity at the ceiling just above the bed head. Let au matlas défoncé, certainly we feel well the resorts. The bathroom is very date with the washing spots, black traces on the walls left by a wall accessory (hair dry?) missing, mosquito shower joints, hair and hair in the washing and shower! ... And it was the same for my 4 colleagues who had also booked. To avoid absolutely. And it is a 3 stars!!! ???

Located in the vicinity of the stadium, in a quiet area but impossible to reach with public means. The rooms are not very large, the bathroom is in line with standards (except the nice washing machines ...), the boiler is available, the soundproof is perfect and the choice of kitchens is excellent. What makes the difference is the courtesy and efficiency of the staff.

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. Room with a pleasant balcony. I strongly recommend this hotel.
