Location was great. Parking hall was spacious and we got our car loaded everytime we wanted. The breakfast was excellent and staff there took our kids a notice. It felt great. I was on a holiday alone with my three kids and everything went easy on a hotel. We will definitely come back to this hotel

Scandic Oulu has never let me down! I have travelled years in Finland both at work and also during my vacations. In Scandic Oulu everything always functions perfectly. When hot, they pour you a glass of water already by the reception and when cold and snowy, one is able to drive in the garage and get in to the reception without too much trouble!

A very clean, modern and bright hotel with a top-class breakfast in its versatility. The only criticism is the narrow beds. Yes, in modern times, a bed width of 120 cm should already be standard in Finland as well!

The room was very cold (about 18 - 19 degrees celcius) and there were only one thin blanket. The machine in the wall (to add/reduce warmth) did not work. Staff was not able to do anything; the first one was friendly but helpless, but the second one come to my room to argue and raised her voice and did not leave despite my repeated requests.

This was my 4th stay in this hotel. There is a very happy lady working in the breakfast hall and her greetings always put a smile on my face. She is such a sun! The hotel was fully booked and the breakfast supprisingly busy at 6.30 am. The cleanliness of the room was ok, nothing to complain, but could be improved. I daily handled something with a receptionist and it happened to be the same lady every day. The last day she gave me a good favour for free which I really appreciated. The staff made the visit again!

Otherwise, everything went well, but the shower came out with really little pressure and sometimes the water came out scalding hot and sometimes cold.
