The receptionists with whom I had contact (three altoghether) were all very friendly (sincere heart-felt friendliness) and helpful with any request or question I came up with. The room (single on 5th floor) was a bit small, bit in relation to price paid still OK. A friend had booked a business room (price difference was not that high); this was spacious, nice in style and had a private sauna. Free coffee, tea and small pastries all day (self-made, not bought!).

Cleanliness, location, internet etc. all worked well and would merit a recommendation. Price to value would also have been good, if - and this is a big IF - it would have been possible to sleep well. To me that is the single most important part about a hotel stay. The arrival day was sunny and outdoor temperature close to 25C. Nice! However the temperature in the room was warmer (estimated to 25-30C). Not so nice. And due to lack of air-conditioning (either absent or not with sufficient capacity) the temperature stayed high. In any case we had no possibility to adjust the temperature by means of a thermostat or opening the window. Hope was given by the fact of an electrical fan which was provided. However the length of the cord and location of the electric outlets did not allow for it to be positioned to cool the beds when sleeping. The low quality sleep lead to a less pleasant visit to Oulu than expected. If you don't need fresh air to sleep and are temperature resilient this is otherwise a good deal.

Hotel with great location and easy to find. The room was good and there is a fridge, microwave, kettle and there is a sharing pantry and laundry room for guests. A really good budget hotel with nice and friendly staff.

20 km north of Oulu, the Gulf of Bothnia 50 m, shallow water, hard sandy clay bottom, own boat. Log cabin 1987, renovated 1998, cooking corner, living room (50 sqm!) 2 extra beds, double bed and 2 separated beds beds in the loft, lounge with fireplace, sauna, wc, vestibule and terrace.On sandy shore there is a barbeque hut and wooden patio with furniture in summer. Imposing log cabin with charming furnishing. Roomy living space, two open fireplaces, good stairs to the loft. Location by the sea with good view over the sea towards west.The sea level is changing. The neighbour cottage (20 m) is seldom used.Golf-course and riding possibility in Virpiniemi 15 km away. Spa Eden 25 km.Please notice that this cabin is available from June till end of September and at least for 7 days.

I've been there for the beginning of a photography tour and at first as I heard ”airport hotel” I thought about noise, brightness and other negative aspects, but they are all wrong! The location ist terrific. Directly at the sea, a bird tower close by. The Spanish restaurant inside serves wonderful meals (loved sitting outside on this huge balcony) and the rooms are great. I slept very well and could take some good pictures (that weren't planned actually)
