After a long journey in atrocious weather (torrential rain) we needed warming up, the heating in our room, (103) was not working. We phoned reception but did not get a response, the heating however came on within 15 minutes or so. The next day, on returning from a day out, we had a lovely meal in the restaurant and returned to our room to have a shower before settling down for the evening. It was however a rather chilly night and the heating was again not working. I tried to contact reception but got no reply, I went down to reception to report the problem, but reception was not manned. I then looked for someone to help, I went to the bar, but there was nobody there. In desperation I returned to the restaurant to report the problem only to be told that it was my responsibility to request the heating to be put on in my room!!!
