If this place is “Best” Western I’d hate to try anything of lower quality. Dirty, dingy rooms, poor internet that keeps disconnecting, garbage littered all around the entrance and, to cap it all, someone started cleaning the restaurant at 10:30 above my room: they stomped around, dragged furniture about and dropped things loudly on the floor. The noise woke me up after a long drive. I was so disgusted with the place I left after the first night even though I’d paid for two. Of course I didn’t get a refund for the second night. If this is the only hotel available to you I’d opt to sleep on a bench along the seafront.

Visited the restaurant recently and won’t be back. Food was ok but the hotel manager was unbelievably rude not only to customers but also to the staff. She spent the entire duration of our visit swearing at the staff and complaining that they weren’t working hard enough. It doesn’t not create an inviting atmosphere when the staff of the hotel and restaurant feel it is ok to swear in customers earshot. Not professional, not okay and wouldn’t recommend it! Very disappointing and no way for staff to be treated.

The room was clean. The facilities were adequate. I feel like they have spent a lot of money on the front of house areas but neglected the rooms. There was a lot of wasted space that could have been utilised by a king size instead of a double. The staff were lovely and all in all it was enjoyable.

The hotel is on the sea front not far from Eric Morecambe's statue. Reception is manned. The room was to the rear and quiet. Clean and functional. Breakfast was good, and had a nice view over the Bay. Breakfast staff were nice, as was the receptionist in the morning. I arrived in a rain storm. Parking is the rear and is £10 a night. Access requires a key card to enter the rear of the hotel. At times of heavy rain, the sloping path from car park to hotel becomes flooded and there is no shelter. So bring your wellies!

Hotel frontage looks grubby and seagull poop worse than last year. Especially windows. Room to small for double Had to request room to be serviced and full service never done. Beds not made, bathroom not cleaned, floor not cleaned. Marks on walls and woodwork looked stained and dirty. Over charged for breakfast we had not had, this has happened on each visit. No evacuation information taken at check in. I am disabled and we were put on 2nd floor which meant I would require assistance. I asked about this and no forms to fill in. Will not visit again. Sheet and protector came off to show stained topper
