Hilton Garden Inn Overland Park

We liked the quiet hallways, pretty lobby with a fireplace and easy access. The pool/hot tub didn’t look too inviting. Loved the large TV and the room temp was easy to control . The hot water took awhile to get in the sink. The tub water was fine though. The staff was so friendly and we felt welcomed. a free continental breakfast would be a plus. We would stay here again.

There is not a business center at this hotel. It was very hard to be able to print anything needed for work, with offices, locally were closed due to weather. We had to modify our training location, and without a business center we were stuck, trying to train in the lobby. Because we were told we were not allowed to access their conference rooms. But there was vacuuming, going on and mopping going on while we were trying to hold corporate calls and meetings in the lobby. We asked about a conference room and they told us they were booked, but we walked past them. They were empty. Just very disappointed as this is a great location for us to return to. Unfortunately, we will not be utilizing this location for future business trips. The lobby was very cold, and with the door continually open and closing it just continued to get colder and colder..

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Overland Park Kansas for a work trip on March 7th-9th 2024 and when checking in to the hotel they had asked me if I wanted house keeping services during my stay. I stated no thank you, as I had done my research ahead of the trip and found that they did not provide safes in their rooms. Well the very next day after a long day working at the trade show, I come back to my room and notice my bed was made and things had been tidied up. So I instantly went to check to ensure all my belongings were still there and I discovered my ($368) cash was no where to be found. After ransacking all my belongings and also my car I wasn't able to find my money. So I went down to the front desk and told the lady that my money from my room was missing and why they did maid service when I specifically told them no. She then called her general manager which never picked up the phone but sent a message back saying that the maid that had cleaned my room had worked for them for several years and that they had never had anything like this happen so that he would investigate and get back to me. That was the only money I had to make out back home to where I live 2 states away, so I no choice but to drive and deliver Uber eats until 2am just to ensure I was able to have enough money to make it back home. I was exhausted the entire next day because of this. I've sense left countless calls which ended up being voicemails and NEVER heard back! I am disgusted by the sheer unprofessionalism of this business and I want my money back! I sense then have called Hilton customer support to file a claim and the nice lady said that I would hear back on how they plan to respond in 48hrs-72hrs. Well it's now been 12 days and still no word. So, do I recommend this hotel? No. Stay ANYWHERE ELSE OR TAKE ANYTHING YOU DONT WANT STOLEN FROM YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE.

Overall a very tired and run-down hotel. The hotel desperately needs a refurbishment. Worse yes my room had ants, and it was awful. I repeatedly informed the front desk of the problem. The hotel did nothing to solve the problem, in fact I never even received an apology. I requested a manager contact me twice and no one ever did. The front desk said no manager was available (I was there for 3 days).

I had booked one day at this location. After spending the day with my daughter, I decided to stay another day. Since I had booked through *******, I talked with the desks personnel and found out that the way to do this would be to book another day through *******. They worked very well with me. Told me how I should come down anytime the next day and check out and then check back in on the new reservation. They were very helpful.
