Worst hotel experience. I've stayed at some not so great hotels but this is beyond what I will ever stay at again. I must have been so overwhelmed from so many issues from the first step into the hotel room that I should have known better to even have stayed here. Here are the issues we had while our short stay here: ISSUE #1 - Elevators weren't working so had a work out carrying all of our stuff up the stairs while also toting a baby. And didn't look like they had been working for some time as the tape holding the paper "out of order" signs were worn and parts of it not even sticking anymore. ISSUE #2 - If traveling with an infant (6 mo.) wasn't already stressful enough, not having a safe place for them to sleep is terrifying. Staying here was a horrible decision. I called FOUR TIMES prior to the trip to verify they had a crib/pack and play for babies to sleep in. I was told "yes" each time. When we got to our room, there was no crib and was then told they never had any so they don't know why someone would have told us they did. They said they could move us to a double queen bed so that the baby can sleep on a bed. Talk about UNSAFE practices suggested by their management. If I had been told they didn't have them at any time when I called the four times, I would have figured out something to do or booked a different hotel that had a place for my baby to safely sleep. ISSUE #3 - So we tried to fix the situation. We went to the nearby Walmart to buy a pack and play (that we wouldn't have needed in the first place if we had been told they didn't have them) so that my screaming, overly tired baby could finally get some sleep and not roll or crawl off the bed. I asked the front desk to take the amount of the pack and play off our bill since they FAILED to tell us that there wasn't a place for our baby to sleep. Didn't want anymore or any less, just whatever it took to have a safe place for my baby to sleep. Guess it was too much to ask for the $87 off the bill. They said it was not their fault and that their solution of the baby sleeping on a bed would have solved the problem and it was on us to want to have it for the baby to sleep in. And they even told us to just return it back to Walmart when we checked out. Talk about sketchy management. ISSUE# 4 - Hallway smelled like Febreze was dumped over cat piss to mask the smell. ISSUE# 5 - the top white sheet over the blanket was turning yellow like it hadn't been washed in a while. ISSUE# 6 - As we were leaving, we noticed there was black mold on the ceiling hallway to the stairwell. Wished we would have noticed it before because we definitely wouldn't have made it past that and would have turned around immediately. ISSUE# 7 - We finally got home, started unpacking, started the laundry, and got ready for bed. My husband found a BED BUG on him!!! So after a stressful hotel stay, tiresome trip home, we had to spend more time deep cleaning everything. ISSUE# 8 - I called Best Western since
