Travelodge by Wyndham Owen Sound

Staff were very accommodated with issues we had with heat now working in our room.

I had a severe nose bleed & they were quick to respond to bring me lots of Kleenex

Fantastic night we would stay again. The staff went beyond helpful a matter fact I even went and bought the lady behind the counter, some chocolates for being so helpful I would stay there again in a heartbeat.❤️❤️

Quiet night as it is storming outside.

This is my third stay at this location. I’m pretty forgiving and wasn’t going to mention the state of the room, the black hairs all over the bathroom (we are a light haired family), the inconsistency of access to hot water, the extreme hot or cold temperatures and nothing in between, or the stains on the walls. After I returned home I realized I left a couple of personal items behind, and I immediately called to inquire about the missing items. Reception answered right away and I was asked to call back one hour later while they had a look. I would have gladly paid to have the items shipped back to me as I live out of province. Ten or more unanswered calls and a full week later, it’s clear they’re avoiding me which is extremely disappointing. What is wrong with people? Where is the customer service, not to mention lack of morals since clearly these items were of some value and have been kept for personal use by whomever was fortunate enough to find and keep for themselves. It’s not too late to rectify the situation but if I continue to be ignored then my next visit to Owen sound, including that of my extended family who regularly visit, will include staying at a different losging with more reliable and honourable staff. Thankfully there are many other options in town that would appreciate our continued business.

Overall it was nice.

The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast has an adequate amount of variety to choose from and plenty of fresh coffee. The staff are very busy but also helpful and very friendly.

The hotel was perfectly fine for its price point in all regards except: the shower in the morning was lukewarm at best. Sorry, hot showers are important!
