Staff at The Mortimer Arms were friendly and helpful. They were attentive during breakfast and the evening meal and the food was tasty. The crockery and condiments used during breakfast could have been cleaner however: dried egg/fat stain on a sugar sachet, cutlery needed changing.

The hotel is very clean and perfect for families. The brought pull out beds for the kids and gave them crayons and pictures to colour which calmed them down. There is WiFi but you have to ask for the code and the food is great.

Stayed for one night after visiting peppa pig world. Only 2 mins drive away from the park. Got there for dinner time and the food was lovely, lots of choices but abit different than your usual pub food, more interesting. Room was lovely, king sized bed and a little bed for our 3 year old. Lovely big shower. Quiet. Room abit warm but there was a fan and we'd opened the windows but it had been a warm day. Breakfast included and lots of options including veggie and vegan!

Loved it there, was so near and convenient for Paulton's Park, lovely food & service was good too.
Wish there was a fridge in the room & air con, was difficult in the heatwave.
A plus point would be to have a swing & slide for the children in the outdoor area.
