This hotel is tired. Very tired. It is in desperate need of a renovation. The front desk staff has always been friendly. The GM? Not so much. The rooms are dated, run down and the proximity to the highway makes it very noisy as well. There is a new Marriott property opening close by in a few months. Make sure to choose that option when staying in the area.

The front desk gave a room key to a MY ROOM . My wife was alone when a strange man walked into our room. Front desk manager said simple mistake glitches in the system no big deal. Bullhockey it is a big deal. This is the second FairField this has happened to us booked by *******. Front management only wants to comp the room this is not enough or acceptable. I expect more from Fairfield and *******. Top management has to speak with before check out. It would be nice if you talked to me as well. Thank you

The overall stay was not bad. The downfall was that when we checked in it was a downpour. Which I know is not anyone’s fault except that when we went to go inside (at 2 or so am) the door was locked and no one around to let us in. We had traveled all night and were exhausted. We called the hotel itself and the phone rang and rang. We tried calling ********** customer service they were no help just said well go find another hotel. The problem was it was a college championship going on and there were no other hotels that had availability. We banged and banged on the front door until finally a woman woke up off the dining chairs and let us in. I spoke to management she said she would offer some type of reward points etc but I never have seen a thing. I get that it was late but isn’t that their job to watch the front incase there was any problems!?

I was not given the type of room I booked. I booked two queen beds and got a king with a pull out couch that was a twin size. It was not a huge deal and it worked out fine, but it is not what I booked. And the bed and pull out were very uncomfortable. I won’t book there again for those reasons. It was very clean though. And the shower was amazing!

We were in the area for a Talladega Short Track Sprint car race. This hotel is about 15 mins from the track and close to multiple restaurants and shopping. Very clean and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

I came to Anniston to do a job for five days and head back home. When I checked in I got to my room and was a bit off put! My bathroom mirror looked like it was cleaned with syrup. At a closer look so did the counter. I should not have to clean my hotel room once I checked in. Anyway after a bit of a shower issue things turned around. There were two young ladies at the front desk that had completely made my last two nights awesome. They made me laugh, were very friendly, personable and just a joy to come back ‘home’ to at the end of a long work day. I come back in September and was going to find another hotel. But after meeting Jae and Kaily I am coming back here. Good people make a difference. Thank you ladies.
