Extremely quiet with a beautiful view. The property was on the water located in a peaceful town. The perfect place for visiting the area while having the ultimate place to retreat and enjoy complete relaxation.

A very, lovely property with wonderful views of the water. The Innkeeper Ben and the owner Ken are so kind, and the room was very well appointed with lovely touches to make the stay better. Note that the property does not provide full hotel amenities - I.e. no daily housekeeping and has no restaurant or breakfast on property and no included activities/ amenities - but for our two night stay it was lovely. Great for a writers retreat or a couples trip or solo trip if you are searching for solitude. Oxford is very quaint and feels like an extension of your resort. There are about 5-6 restaurants in town / near the hotel, 1 coffee show and a small corner store in town. If you are staying for an expended period, I recommend picking up some provisions in Easton on your way into Oxford (there is a target, BJs and other big box stores). On the whole we really enjoyed our stay!

Sandaway Suites & Beach is an outstanding place to enjoy a relaxing stay. The operation is seamless and the rooms are awesome. Oxford, Maryland adds to the pleasure of this visit.

What a wonderful place !So many extras made it feel like home …. Extra trash cans in the room and 2 in the bathroom!… lots of chairs outside and special hammock like chairs on the porch! So many nice touches … lots of lamps on the room … nice … the only downside was NO BREAKFASTS! When we pay $ 300 a night we expect breakfast … and the place the owner told us we could go and buy breakfast was closed the whole time we were there for 3daus! Just a little continental breakfast would have made this perfect

The bed in 109 needs to be rotated or flipped. It dipped at the head board.

We went here with a group of friends (12 total), and we pretty much rented the entire resort for 3 nights. Everyone loved this place. Beautiful location in a lovely town that is highly walkable and easy to get around by bike. We were here to do some paintings,and there were so many beautiful scenes to pick from, which allowed us to paint all day everyday. Wonderful rooms and access to the best sunsets in the area. We dined at all of the restaurants in town, and had great food and service in all of them. We look forward to making Sandaway our regular annual retreat.

The property was beautiful. The only issue was there was no restaurants nearby, 30-minute drive to St Michaels or Cambridge.
