Travelodge by Wyndham Ozona

There is nothing special and nothing really wrong. Small shower stall but it works fine. Smallish room, but big enough. As bargain hotels go, this is one of the better ones. Nice guy at the desk, clean, and appended to one of the weirdest towns in Texas, which is saying something.

The best thing about this motel is that it is easy to find off the freeway. It is old-school with dated decor. Worn sheets and towels. Dirt in the corners of bathroom tile. Contrary to what is stated on their website, there is no breakfast. There is a microwave and fridge if you bring you own food. One can't really recommend the place, but if you just need a comfortable bed for a quick night on the road, it is acceptable and cheap.

Mostly single-story motel (has an upper floor for a few rooms, it seemed). The bathrooms definitely appear to have been updated; everything was contemporary and in good working order. Very clean room. Definitely will stay here again on my next trip through the area. The highway noise is likely unavoidable for any hotel in Ozona but it's not really bad anyhow. The only down side was that there was no breakfast or even coffee, that I was aware of, in the lobby. At check-in while in the lobby, it didn't appear to have any accommodation for breakfast/coffee and the manager did not mention it either. Since I was leaving real early the next day, it wasn't a huge deal but it would have been nice to be able to grab a hot cup and a muffin or something.

Older facility, clean and good value for room, but hey! How about at least some fresh coffee and something to eat in the morning, as was advertised! We were told that breakfast had been cancelled because of Covid. Really? in December 2022 in Texas? Then take it off your website so I can pay a little more for a better place next time...

Stayed here in January 2022 on a cross-country business trip. Reserved via an online service in advance earlier that day. Nothing extraordinarily excellent or bad - just a reasonably clean and comfortable place to sleep for a night.

Clearly older era "motel". However, recently refurbished and quite clean and nice. A/C was very adequate, but they use the older 'window units', which can be a little noisy. Bathroom was very updated and clean, but small--which might make it slightly difficult for mobility impaired guests, even if ambulatory. Not WC accessible. Was fair for the price.

The room smelled terrible. It seemed like it was "cleaned" with air fresheners. Rooms look nothing like the online pictures. really awful. Internet was practically non existent and very slow if you were lucky enough to make a connection. AT&T cell phone did not work there. Motel seemed to be in some kind of tower blindspot. I have stayed in thousands of motel rooms overy the past 60 years, and this would rate the lowest in the US, and near the bottom of most under developed countries.

Not only is the property description a lie (no pool no breakfast) but the room was so gross; puke on the floor, mold in the bathroom with bugs, and stains on the bedding. The AC barely worked and most of the lights didnt work and the gap in the door was so vast you could see the whole parking lot.

I have been traveling from AK through CAnada and from Seattle through CA and Az to Texas. My husband and I have a 4 yr old and we were all super tired abs decided to stop at this hotel because judging by the pictures, it is a great deal. As soon as my husband walked in, his face changed. Btw, my husband never complains. We could hear all kinds of noises, the water turning on and off every other minute. The wind hauling outside… anyway, what a nightmare! It was getting late when I was awoken by something. Anyway yes it is q ******* place. We picked up our belongings around 1:30 am and left the hotel and drove all the way to Houston. It was the spookiest place I have ever been. Btw, dirty as hell!!! Hair in the bathroom, there was a fork on the floor. We were so freaked out by what we heard abs saw that we left without caring about the payment for the room. Never again!!!
