Lan’s Home

I had a truly wonderful experience when I visited Cao Bằng and stayed at Lan's Home. The host was especially friendly and welcoming, the room was beautiful and the service was excellent. I also loved the fresh air, which is typical of a mountainous region in northern Vietnam.

We really felt at home here as the owner, Lan spoke perfect English and answered all our questions and even arranged our limousine bus back to Hanoi. Breakfast and dinner were available if required. We had a good breakfast there, think it is standard each day consisting of coffee, 2 fried eggs, banh my, tomatoes and cucumber as well as mixed fruit. The home is well run, bedrooms very clean, toilet in good condition, and the home is in a good location, perhaps a 10 minute walk to the river, market and several restaurants. In fact we stayed here twice, both before and after our 5 day trip to the northeast. Lan also keeps a well stocked refrigerator for her guests at a very cheap price. It was also good to meet some fellow travelers there. I can definitely say that all guests will love LAN'S HOME.

They serve breakfast, dinner for your customizations, clear up all your queries, organize a day tour arround Cao Bang, arrange the bus to Ha Noi, Ha Giang, Ninh Binh, Ha Long bay, Cat Ba island, Ba Be lake with all enthusiasm.
