The sky bar food is overpriced so don't get that. Everything else was great. The hotel's history and architecture are very fascinating and you just don't see hotels that look like this anymore. Most of the staff went above and beyond for us so I hope they're paid very well. The location is a little annoying to get to because of the winding roads and I would love to see how people get up there during the winter time. "Castle in the sky" is a good name for it, very beautiful area. Pet friendly hotel so we were happy to see Jasper in the lobby loafing there. There is a kitten up front in a little harness as well. He's still in training to be the general manager.

The tours were fun; a lot of family friend activities. Cute gift shop. Enjoyed the overall experience.

We found the "old school " vibe to be quite charming.The grounds were beautiful and well maintained and plenty to do. The staff was fantastic. Polite attentive, friendly...couldn't ask for more and will definitely go back. Probably great in the Fall.

Very frendly and accomodating staff. Shuttle service was great so that we almost never had to drive anywhere. Rooms was small but very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great. The rooftop pizza restaurant was very good with great views. The pool was nice and the games on the porch and lawn activities were fun.

This hotel is not for those who need a new hotel with fancy bathrooms and a serialized feel. This old hotel is beautiful inside and out. Has a great energy about the place, despite the history (take the ghost tour!!). It has tall and narrow doors, the floors creak and the double full bedroom was small but met our needs. The Crystal room is great to have breakfast in! You can just feel all the exciting and fun things that have gone on in there! The pizza place was pretty good but pricey. They only have one size pizza, so split it with the family! The grounds are gorgeous and well taken care of. They have activities every day for the guests and please do the ghost tour!! It isn't too scary for kids, it was just fun and explains the energy there. My only complaint is some of the floors are not even, so my bed was tilted slightly and it really did a number on my bad back. If you have mobility issues, maybe double check that when you book. They do have an elevator if stairs are difficult for you. Don't forget to find and say hello to Jasper, the house cat!! We will for sure return to this hotel again.

With it being a historic hotel, there were obviously some issues with the overall condition of the room (the beds were lopsided, tiny bathroom, window AC completely blocking the view), but the history, activities, amenities, and atmosphere make up for it.

Our stay at the Crescent Hotel was really nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in (107) was nice, early 1900s with modern updates. We did have some small “activity” with our closet door opened slightly in the middle of the night and then our full spectrum camera record button was pushed, stopping the video recording.
The only issue we had was the water pressure in the shower was poor and when you drain the bathtub, water backed up into the sink momentarily, with rancid sewer smell. The smell took some time to dissipate.

Very clean. Great staff. Good food. The grounds offer so many things to do! Or you can shuttle into downtown. Would definitely recommend.
