A top-notch hotel. I visited the photos of the castle family members. I felt eerie when walking in the corridor. As soon as I checked into the room, the smoke detector buzzed three times. The security guard rushed in and couldn't solve it. In the morning, only our room didn't have hot water for showering. I guess he's possessed by some ghost.

Nice hotel could do with a lick of paint in the corridors also jacuzzi wasn’t working and went specially for that so was a bit disappointed. Overall decent hotel

unfortunately, the shower pressure was shocking when you put it onto warm, i was upgraded which was massively appreciated but that was a complete let down shower wise, would of been nice for some biscuits to come with the hot drinks bit, didn't get chance to use the spa unfortunately, Big let down with not being able to get food before 6pm, i was leaving for a woork commitment, not that i was expecting a full menu but having quick bar meals available would of been massively appreciated for future, perhaps a small menu fpr inbetween meal times

Hotel could not cope with two coach trips at same time. Sent disabled to farthest room in hotel, a long distance to eatery. The staff were very patient and attentive but the chef got it all wrong, undercooking, running out of selected choices etc. The hotel is too big and sprawly and other ******* were noted by our coach. Cannot fault the serving staff all lovely just shame about the infrastructure.

I haven't been to the Dunkenhalgh in a number of years but I can honestly say that the customer service I have received from Kieran Chamley, the Health Club & Spa Manager has been excellent! Good old fashioned quality, polite and efficient customer service that is rarely found. Thank you
