Ok Albergo in stile classico, in magnifica posizione, ideale per visitare a piedi il centro storico di Padova. In una tranquilla viuzza acciottolata, tra antichi edifici e in zona pedonale, l’hotel si trova a pochi metri dal celebre Palazzo della Ragione, circondato dalle coloratissime piazze delle Erbe e della Frutta (ove si tiene un caratteristico mercato alimentare). In dieci minuti a piedi si raggiungono comodamente, con una breve passeggiata tra le vie dello shopping, la stupenda basilica di Sant’Antonio, la cappella degli Scrovegni e tutte le principali attrazioni della città veneta. Gli ambienti comuni della struttura appaiono forse un po’ datati, così come gli ascensori. Camere sufficientemente grandi, pulitissime e confortevoli, mentre i bagni sono minuscoli ma comunque comodi. Suggestivo l’affaccio nel silenzioso cortile alberato. Lo staff è accogliente, affabile e competente. La colazione, abbastanza varia e di buona qualità, si paga a parte ad un costo non proprio economico: conviene farla, ad un prezzo grosso modo equivalente, nello storico caffè Pedrocchi, uno dei più eleganti d’Italia, a pochi passi dall’hotel.

Licht und Schatten. Schön war: sehr zentrale Lage, hochwertig ausgestattetes Zimmer, authentisches Ambiente, freundliches Service Mühsam war: den Weg zum Hotel und davor zur 250 m entfernen Garage zu finden. Bedingt durch eine Umleitung, die dem Hotel bekannt war und von der man uns nichts sagte, haben uns auch drei Navis nicht davor bewahrt, in viel zu engen Gassen mit Fahrverbot zu schwitzen. Das nervt ,weil es vermeidbar wäre. Es ging wohl allen anreisenden Gästen so. In italienischen Altstädten muss man das Rangieren und parken auf engstem Platz eben mögen, oder ausweichen. Unerfreuchlich 2: statt dem Standard nahmen wir ein Komfortzimmer, dachten wir. Zi 311 hat eine schwach fließende Dusche, eine kaum merkbare Entlüftung. Trotz der schönen Fensterläden und der modernen Fenster haben wir die Partystimmung des Lokal vis a vis regelmäßig bis 02:00 gehört. Im Urlaub wegen Strassen/Partylärm regelmäßig nicht durchschlafen zu können ist wirklich unlustig. Meiden Sie also auch Zimmer 310 und die darunter liegenden vmtl 210, 211. andere Zimmer dürften sehr ruhig sein.
