Coswarth House

We had a great time which was really made by Mark who was very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. We hope to return again soon.

This lovely property is situated conveniently within walking distance of the center of Padstow, in a quiet area of town. Mark, the owner, went above and beyond our expectations, both in his communication and his accommodation of our family's needs. This vintage apartment is beautifully decorated---the enormous bathroom contains an antique iron clawfoot bathtub as well as a large walk-in shower. Mark left us a bottle of Prosecco which we enjoyed in the beautiful garden at the front of the property. He kept in touch with us throughout our visit, offering to make dinner reservations if we needed them and was very attentive. This property is bi-level, with two sets of stairs. A fantastic experience--we cannot wait to return!

Me and my wife stayed at Coswarth house early October this year, Mark was an amazing host! He guided us in as parking isn’t the most obvious which was great. We were greeted in the car park and showed to our beautifully decorated room which looked out on to the garden and to top it off a bottle of fizz which was delicious! Mark gave us all the information we needed regarding taxis and restaurants in the area and explained about breakfast which is actually at the Rick Stein restaurant just a short walk away. Breakfast choice was great fruit, pastries, porridge, full English and it tasted amazing. The bed was ridiculously comfy with high quality cotton sheets and more pillows than you can shake a stick at, honestly the best sleep I’d had in a long time! The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous, the soap and shampoos supplied are also great and a lovely touch, very classy. Mark was on hand when ever we needed him for anything we required. We had a lovely chat before we left for our journey home, Mark I a very interesting and genuine guy, it was great to hear about his background and cars he’s had (I’m a bit of a car nut haha). We would highly recommend staying here at Coswarth House and hope to stay again sometime soon! Our host Mark could not have been more helpful. He met us in the car park and assisted getting the car into a tight space. Mark showed us our rooms and covered general housekeeping items before leaving us with some complimentary bubbles. During our stay Mark also offered to help with restaurant bookings and suggested walk in locations. On checkout he asked about our stay and our atciviteis in Padstow. An excellent host whom we would stay with again.

Host (Mark) exceptionally friendly and welcoming; room wonderful; extremely helpful in arranging our eating out - couldn't have done more!

We loved the Cotsworth house in Padstow. Room and bathroom were beautiful and spotless . We were very hot as the weather was very warm but a fan was left for us👍👍 We were in very close proximity to the restaurants and harbour. Mark the owner was pleasant and welcoming . See you next year would love to return

Delightful guest house. Spotlessly cleaned with great attention to style and detail. Mark the owner is amazing and kept in touch before and during our stay to make sure we were okay. Wandering down the road to St Petroc’s for breakfast was a real treat. Location near the harbour and town is ideal.

We had a lovely Cornish getaway at Coswarth House. Beautiful garden surrounding this boutique property. Mark was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was more than a room and the free-standing roll top bath was an absolute delight.
