What a beautiful house , We arrived in the dark early evening 5.15 no signs to say how to find reception I walk around the house finally finding the side area with patio doors , we were greeted by a lovely young lady , who told us about breakfasts and should us through a kitchen to a lounge then up to our room at the top of the house , cleopatra room , quite a small room with a double bed Iv not seen the likes of it was like a bed on top of a bed that’s thee only way I can describe it , I’m 5ft tall quite difficult to get up on it she even said “or ur need a step “ Wish I had one we did say we might stay another night she have availability so looked ok at this point we went down to the lounge and got drinks and sat in the lounge for a couple of hours and then went to bed we did read there was a number to call through the evening if any problems as not a managed reception, Oh wow the heat in this room was of any heat Iv ever felt I tried to turn the radiator of which I though I had also the thermostat to the — - sign so thinking done no this was not going if at any point we opened windows and realising no staff around tried to sleep with the fear of falling of the bed as the hight of it was quite a different experience, I would have preferred white sheets but that just my preference not black /brown sheets rooms were clean and tidy I did look at other rooms on this floor and was disappointed we got the room we got , Breakfast was served in a morrocan style room which was lovely gardens and staff are friendly and helpful , would recommend the b and b but not that room a bit small wouldn’t recommend this with the bed size and not being able to control the heating , and that why we didn’t stay another night .
