Mont Blanc Base Camp Khaoyai

The 45 sqm bedroom is spacious, and the bathroom is clean with complimentary shampoo and conditioner. We also received two free bottles of water and coffee. The air conditioning and TV worked perfectly. I really enjoyed this trip to Khao Yai, it was a great experience :)

The tent was old and moldy, both the tent itself and the floor. The edges all around had mold, animal droppings, and dust. The pillow was old, and the bed sheets and pillowcases looked worn out. I found two millipedes before bed, which made it impossible to sleep because I was constantly worried there would be more. I had to sleep with the light on. Other room types might be fine, but I really don't recommend the tent. It's such a shame because the in-room amenities were excellent. There was an extra small bed, a TV, a refrigerator (in the forest!), a water heater, and toiletries. The shower pressure was also strong. If it were renovated, maintained, and taken care of, it would be much better. Sending encouragement to the owner and staff!

The room was large and smelled nice, not stuffy at all. The bed was firm, but the pillows were soft. The breakfast was delicious. The front desk staff were friendly, always smiling and polite. However, the housekeepers! The room was quite big, so it took a while for the AC to cool down; maybe a fan would be good. It's close to many tourist attractions. 👍

The accommodation is spacious, quiet, and private, conveniently located near amenities such as 7-11, a market, and restaurants. It's also close to Bo Phut Waterfall and just a 15-minute drive from the entrance of Chao Por Khao Yai Shrine. The air conditioning works great. I recommend bringing your own food for convenience. The price is reasonable. For anyone planning activities in Khao Yai, I highly recommend staying here.

The accommodation is old, poorly maintained, unclean, and in disrepair. The tent's front zipper wouldn't close, allowing many insects inside. We couldn't reach any staff, so we had to escape outside and wait for the insects to leave before we could re-enter. We then had to find things to block the insects from coming in. What's more, we had a small child with us.

The beds were comfortable, a mix of large and small, and all the amenities were complete. However, the tent itself was starting to yellow and didn't look as clean inside as it should. The raised metal frame was wobbly when people walked by. The price was affordable, and breakfast was decent.

This was the most disappointing hotel I've stayed at in Thailand. Older hotels were cleaner, and those with newer facilities were still cleaner than this one. I can confidently say this place feels like it's been forgotten by its owner or management. 'Dilapidated' isn't an exaggeration; with a little modification, it could easily be a set for a zombie apocalypse movie. Don't even think about sitting on any visible chair or seat, or you might ruin your pants. Don't trust any corner, as insects and ants are everywhere – they even covered the toilet, making it impossible for me to use. In fact, the room itself could be an insect exhibition. You'll barely find any staff, and if you do, they've likely just woken up and are extremely lackadaisical. Breakfast wasn't even available by 9 AM. If you've been fooled by their pictures, I strongly advise you to give up on this place right now.
