We stayed recently and found this resort very well maintained. Staff is very friendly. We visited on weekends so we were only couple but staff was very generous. We enjoyed our stay. Location is closer to lake and one can enjoy sunset from there.

Great ambiance ***** with service and food. Sunset and sunrise views are awesome. Great place to engage people with memories. Staff was humble and polite. The only issue is u can't drive a vehicle larger than car till parking area. Rest all the hoto the mark.

We group of 50 members have visited the Lakewood resort. It was totally refreshing and entertaining. The ambience is excellent. Nice food. It was a memorable two days trip. Qualified and dignied staff.

We visited as a group of 12 including a 5 year old kid and stayed for 3 nights at this resort. The way to the resort is terrible with zero network. The resort is located at the outskirts of Mahabaleshwar, hence overall it was a peaceful stay. Roms were spacious and clean. Few incects such as ants n flies enter into the room but considering the greenery surrounded, it is acceptable. Cleanliness can be improved. The staff is helpful. The main worry for the resort is with the Food...1 out 5 marks for the food...for quality/variety/taste. Lakewood resorts has to improve as far as food is concerned, good cook can be kept to improve food ratings. Very less variety of breakfast in the morning....no egg was served for our family members. When any resort offers packages with the meal plan ..they have to maintain quality as well. Spa facility needs to be started. People come to relax at such places. Overall hospitality was good.

This pace is far from anywhere, but once inside, just relax and enjoy. We drove from Kas (Satara) and took almost 3 hours in the rainy season. It is equally far if you come via Mahabaleshwar. Tapola is also know as "Chhota Kashmir", a lovely area with Koyna backwater on three sides. Just relax and enjoy, take long walks, spend time of lakeside, take a boat ride.. there are some adventure sports also available. Do not pack too much of sightseeing etc. Rooms are well laid like wooden cabins, food is good. Best part are elevated machans where you can sit in evening and enjoy a lovely view. There is a Karaoke singing available in evening where they try to involve all inmates.
