Palm Cove Tropic Apartments

Slightly older-style but well-kept apartments. Very spacious, good set up, lots of kitchen items if you want to cook, great patio overlooking pool and very comfortable bed, with washing machine and dryer a big bonus. Wi-Fi was a little slow. Excellent location just a stroll to the main Palm *****. Best of all very quiet. Maybe just a few extras like more than one toilet paper roll and a beach towel would seal the deal but otherwise excellent value for money.

We stayed for two nights. The reception was unattended most of the time, and the service was below expectations. The pool also closed earlier than the displayed closing time. One air conditioner was out of order.

Property recently sold. New owner appeared to manage the property on part-time basis. Reception opened from 9:30am to 2:00pm.

The location was great, very close to the beach and esplanade where you can stroll and find a lot of restaurants and shops.

Apartment was clean and tidy, but it is in need of a full refurbishment. Several essential things require replacing. Otherwise just ok.

Clean room with all necessary amenities. I like that the property is not situated on the main drag. Pool and poolside amenities are fabulous. Secure, undercover parking is great. No onsite interaction with staff members.

We saw no staff even on arriving, there was one in office at all. The bed was hard and aircon very noisy going off and on all night. The room has a very stale strong smell to it.

I met the 3 sets of residents in the pool for the first time in my 3-4 stays here. They were welcoming, friendly and lovely to chat with.
