My family and I have been coming to the Omni for the last 4-5 years and have always had excellent service and I always recommend this hotel to friends. This review is regarding the room not the service. First of all the location of the room. The room we were assigned was located at the very last unit of the building. Anymore further, we would be in the golf course. My husband had mentioned where the room we had last year but was told it was an upgrade. Which we accepted. I then requested a room in a different building a little closer to the pool. After a few minutes of searching by the front desk agent. We were told there were none available which seemed unusual because the pool area was not crowded like it had been previous years. After checking in our room, I noticed there was no refrigerator. Had to call the front desk and have one delivered. Also, the ac made a crackling sound when running. I called the front desk but no one answered so I sent a text message and was told will send someone to look at it. After returning from the pool a few hours later, I thought the ac had been addressed but it was not. A few minutes later the ac turned on and the noise was still there. Unsure if anyone was sent since I did not get a response whether the ac was fixed or not. This trip was definitely disappointing.
