Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach

We had a spectacular long weekend at the Four Seasons Palm Beach. It was our first visit and we will absolutely be back. We were looking for a relaxing beach-side hideaway with great food, great service and great weather. We were not disappointed. The property & pool: this property is gorgeous in a vintage Florida way. It’s very Palm Beach. The decor is perfectly timeless and the lobby areas have a great vibe. The interior is cozy and beautiful. The restaurant is also very pretty. The property is a great size, with about 180 rooms it feels boutique but also big enough to have all the right amenities. It sits on a beautiful beach with a great pool. The ocean view was stunning. Service by the pool / beach got spotty when things got busy but was overall quite good. Lounge chairs were very comfortable. They had great complementary amenities: fruit, mimosas, lemonades, etc. coming around a few times a day. They also served snow cones, daily gelato, and a fresh fruit bar by the pool. Those touches go a long way! The foliage on the property was one of my favorite parts. It’s well curated. I did think many areas of the exterior of the property could use a refresh: parts of the pool and walkways had very dated / chipped tiles. The pool bathrooms were also run down. It didn’t bother us much, but the adult pool is right next to the kid pool with less of a great view. So if you want a truly kid free vacay, this might not be a good spot for silence. You can sit a bit away from the kid pool near the ocean, though, for less noise. The room: We elected for the Ocean View Studio Suite on the recommendation of our travel agent and highly recommend that room class. The room was in the main hotel building on the 3rd floor (of 4) and had a stunning view of the water overlooking the pool. It was well kept, well decorated, clean, and spacious - all the things you’d expect of a 4S property. The only minor pokes is that the bathroom is a bit dated and on the small side, with no soaking tub and not the best water pressure in the shower. It was perfectly acceptable for a lux hotel, all in all. The balcony was lovely but I did find the balcony furniture to be quite uncomfortable. I’d suggest lounge chairs or foot rests. The food: quite good. Breakfast was great, though I found the smoothies to be disappointing in terms of taste and texture. Very watery - and for $18 you expect something delicious! Overall the buffet is great. Pool food was also very good. There is a great coffee bar in the mornings but unfortunately it was out of coffee and/or cream when we went down around 8:30 every morning. The spa & gym: I had a lovely, relaxing massage with Laura. The spa facilities really need a refresh, though. Extremely dated situation. Gym was nice, spacious, got a little crowded during peak time but had everything you need. Suggested improvements: - The bath robes are a rough terry fabric, the soft ones in the spa were delectable! - Updated spa facility - Refresh on som

Cons: Spa requires updating, more house cars or a luxury shuttle should be available to go to town, foliage looking onto the beach should be trimmed down for better line of sight to the water, room patio furniture requires updating Pros: love the decor throughout the property - felt very in keeping, high end, but not stuffy. The pool amenities they did at the pool are very cute: ice cream cart, snow cones. etc.

I went to the four seasons for a conference this week and I did not want to leave! I should have come a few days earlier and enjoyed this gem of an oasis on the beach. Had Amy reach out to make sure that all the reservations were set up before I came, Kamila greeted us with complimentary champagne upon checking in and Justin made the few hours I snuck away to the beach before the conference exceptional! I had a beautiful ocean view room on the 4th floor. The staff is friendly, unpretentious and so courteous. The food on premises was excellent both at the restaurant Flories as well as room service. It was such a wonderful experience to sit on the terrace looking at the ocean waves from the room for breakfast. I didn’t want to leave after the conference. I can’t wait to return and really get to enjoy all the amenities next time. Absolutely wonderful for either leisure or business. Thank you to all the wonderful staff from management to the valet, to housekeeping and maintenance who were all so friendly and accommodating!

The hotel staff .. friendly and helpful to guests. Rooms are small but comfortable. Housekeeping was on point. The main restaurant is very pretty.. however the menu is very limited and not inviting. If you are a hotel guest staying a few days .. the dinner menu never offers any specials.. and becomes boring. The beach restaurant situated overlooking the ocean.. very pretty setting.. again the menu needs some updating. Bartenders and servers all very professional.. the only negative is the main restaurant menu. Beautiful open kitchen with a very limited menu..

This is a hotel that is mediocre at best, the building is old,the furnishings, food or service in no way justify the ridiculous pricing. It's best attribute is it's proximity to the beach. Don't arrive one minute early that Won't accommodate you.

Great service. Great location. It’s a small resort, but fits the location. One downer is the breakfast buffet wasn’t to our usual Four Seasons standards.

every year we make it a point to have LUNCH at the Forum Seasons "Seaway Restaurant" located at the Beach. The Four Seasons Resort is a top-of-the-line operation. Their Restaurant Seaway is Ocean-Front. The Tables are in the shade, with lots of Grape Trees. If you arrive early you can get a table in the first row with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Beach—a very pleasant atmosphere. On this day "Mathew" was our Server, very professional, and he took good care of us and also recommended dishes. We started with the Arnold Palmer Beverage, very refreshing. we ordered the Ceasar Salad, with the grilled Salomon, grated Parmesan Cheese, and Anchovies. The food was delicious. see my photos. It was a great experience and we will be back. Keep up the good work.

We enjoyed the four seasons palm beach very much in mid March. Resort was clean, friendly and very well appointed. As a family we enjoyed being able to walk everywhere and the kid friendly amenities. Food was very good for a hotel - leaving the property is not necessary to have a good meal. We were especially fond of the beach/poolside restaurant - probably one of the best we have experienced at any property. At most resorts this type of restaurant underperforms due to the monopoly it has on the pool and beach service. Not at this property. A+ experience. The only shortfall is the need for a more kid friendly pool. Either a dedicated pool or some kind of way for children to play/wade in to the water. Easier to overlook with older kids. Would stay again.
