The Movie Colony Hotel is a small, charming hotel located right in the heart of downtown of Palm Springs. We could walk to restaurants, the Art Museum, and some eclectic and fun stores, including boutique thrift stores. Aleena checked us in and made us feel completely at home! She told us about a wine and cheese offering in the afternoon, which turned out to be fun. The next day we were able to walk a few blocks in the neighborhood to find Frank Sinatra's house! Highly recommend Movie Colony Hotel!

Great location. Clean and cozy property great for stays of 3-4 nights. Bedding and pillows need a big update and room doesn't have a desk if that's important to you. Nice balcony - bit cold in late Jan to use but it's here. Outdoor furniture wasn't cleaned up so bit of a letdown. Very Clean pool and whirlpool to use as well. Small continental breakfast and wine and cheese options around 4 pm.

We were in a town house style suite. It was lovely. Downstairs was the sitting area with couch, chairs, fridge, TV. Upstairs was the wonderful shower! Very large! The beds were very comfortable. Nate at the desk was friendly and helpful. (We didn't meet anyone else) Pool and hot tub too! It was the perfect Palm Springs setting!

Love everything about this hotel. Location is absolutely perfect - especially if attending the film festival or events in downtown Palm Springs.
It's small enough and private enough, it feels like you’re staying at a friends home.

loved this place!!! rooms are awesome, very cool vibes. Staff was very helpful, and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and more. 5 min drive to Agua Caliente ******, Palm Springs art museum and tons of other stuff. Will definitely stay here again!

I think this hotel is absolutely superb. My partner and I stayed here recently for five days. It's a small, intimate place that does not accept children (yay!). The rooms are very comfortable, the hot water was excellent, as was the pressure. The room itself was cozy and quiet. Our room opened up on to the moderately sized pool deck where there are deck chairs and towels. The pool is decent sized and heated. We met some nice people on the pool deck over the course of our stay. There's a complimentary continental breakfast, and wine and cheese at 4PM. There is also a large urn of lemon ice water all day. There is no bar, so if you are looking for a crazy party scene, this is not it. The location is excellent. For the price, the location and the overall quality of the place, I think the Movie Colony is just terrific and would recommend it highly.

The staff was incredible. Aleena was amazing!!! Thank YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INCREDIBLE VISIT!!! The front desk was amazing at their job! The room was clean and everything was tip top shape. Aleena was amazing because it was my daughter’s birthday and she brought us a bottle of champagne and white wine on the house.

Nice quiet property. The property is very clean and the staff are so welcoming. Very close to many great restaurants. Easy walk to shopping and food. Great amenities include continental breakfast and happy hour. We’ve stay here several times and it’s always a great stay.
