The experience you have might depend on the room. Stayed in a DeVille room and it was just okay. Clearly a very old hotel room with a fresh coat of paint. Floors are painted over terracotta. Everything is very old but cleaned up. Furnishings are fine but not that comfortable. The bed was VERY comfortable and we slept great. The two AC units keep the place cool enough but rumbled and sputtered and vibrated pretty terribly. We keep the AC in the bedroom off at night due to noise. Shower was pretty new and could have been worse. Not a ton of room in the bathroom. We liked the pools although wish they were warmed up a little more. The atmosphere at the hotel is beautiful at night and we enjoyed hanging by the pool. Overall a good experience but we will likely explore other hotel options around the city next time.

Villa Royale in Palm Springs has become our go-to destination, having visited twice in the last two months for both a friend's wedding and my own birthday celebration. It's safe to say that this establishment has left an indelible mark on us with its blend of stylish vintage furnishings, stunning artwork, and elevated guest service.

I found the hotel name cheesy so I was expecting something as such. But it is really chic and lovely with a great restaurant on site. The hotel is set up as plaza areas - great for enjoying the Palm Springs weather. The 2 things that I didn’t enjoy is there is not a desk and chair in the room and they don’t clean the rooms during the day. Even so still loved my stay.

Loved everything. You won't regret booking. The breakfast was perfect for us. Serene atmosphere. The warm pool was so relaxing. Loved hanging out on the rooftop deck.

Staying the Villa Royale was such a treat. The hotel is in a lovely, tranquil location. It was very peaceful relaxing around on the property and near the pool. Their rooms are cozy, comfortable, and quiet. The bar and restaurant are super nice and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend and I will definitely stay there again.

Absolutely incredible. This was an amazing, luxurious experience, from the warm welcome at check-in, to the intricate details in service and decor, to the warm and inviting pool. This was a true resort, relaxing and tranquil. The design is super stylish and the fine touches (lighting candles at night, fresh smoked salmon and champagne among the breakfast items) make this extra special. The service is exceptional.
