I had heard of Vista Grande Resort thanks to some groups that had recommended it. Coming from a colder climate, I was desperate for some sunny relaxation and I also wanted to explore this fun location. I had previously checked out their virtual tour around the grounds, so it was surreal to see it all in person. Vista Grande has several relaxing pools - each with a different vibe. Their 'grotto' with the waterfall, hot tubs, and steam room was amazing. At night, they turn on their color lighting, and it made it even more fun to explore the resort. Their service was very good. Tom was an excellent host. He gave me everything I needed in order to enjoy my stay. In the morning, their complementary breakfast was exactly what I was looking for, so that I didn't have to leave early to go find breakfast elsewhere. I also discovered that the location of Vista Grande is in a safer section of Palm Springs. Tip: Check out the Tool Shed down the street for good drinks and good people. I will definitely be coming back in the future. I had a very fun stay. Thanks Vista Grande!

The perfect men's resort in the desert! Traveling alone it is always nice to find a welcoming staff. To. Greeted me and gave me the tour. Loved my room and when the had a minor issue with plumbing they moved me seamlessly and upgraded me without cost. Chris does an amazing breakfast and they served a homemade just right soup every day for lunch. The property is beautifully maintained...pools kept at 94 degrees the hot tub and steam room always going strong and cleaned daily. The vibe is friendly and playful as well as peaceful and serene. Aaron and the other staff members are gracious and have just the right approach to customer service. The property is almost 40 years old and they are constantly upgrading and changing with the times. Owner Robert is to be congratulated on keeping this a first class resort in paradise. Can't wait to return!

Excellent experience! There were a variety of room types and prices. We stayed in a “Waterfall Suite” because we liked the location and having extra room and amenities. It was well worth it and we would stay in that room again. The layout of the resort is great for exploring. Two separate pool areas and a jacuzzi area. The pools are heated and can be enjoyed anytime of the day. The jacuzzi was huge. The other guests were lovely and we enjoyed talking with them. The vibe of Vista Grande is classy/clean. You can have a more adventurous and social time if you like or just a quiet time by yourself or with your significant other. The food was excellent. I loved the breakfast sandwich and my husband enjoyed the French toast and waffle. He enjoyed it more than his usual favorite breakfast go to back home. We were there over Thanksgiving and the staff prepared a Thanksgiving meal. It was a nice touch and we got to talk with the other guests. There were a variety of generations represented and we enjoyed talking with older men and the younger ones. The owner Tom and staff were great host and all our expectations for service were exceeded. We can’t wait to come back.

The best thing about this resort are the people that work there! I was warmly greeted by Aaron and Zach, who were AWESOME during my entire stay. It was like making new friends. The manager Tom goes above and beyond for the guests and is also a terrific chef. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Robert, who is a very special person. Mike holds the fort down in the evening and his knowledge of literature is amazing – it was such a pleasure to chat about books with him. Chris, one of the other managers, is also super nice and make sure things are tiptop for the guests. There are so many other people that I did not meet, working behind the scenes, to make our stay so good. Raul fixes things and Matt keeps things going on the overnight shift. Thank you to all! My apologies if I did not get everyone’s name.

We just returned from our 10th weekend getaway in the past 20 months at Vista Grande. This resort has become our only choice in Palm Springs because it’s amazingly clean, incredibly relaxing, the rooms are nicely appointed and they have the friendliest most welcoming staff. This past weekend hurricane Hilary swept through. What could have been a disaster turned into one of our best visits yet. Tom threw a hurricane party. He made us all an incredible homemade lunch, and played the movies Auntie Mame and The Devil Wears Prada. It was a great time to know the other guys better. Thanks again Tom!

Had an excellent time at Vista Grande for a short getaway in the desert. The staff are all welcoming but unobtrusive, and the property's got lots of charm and quirks to it. My room was spacious and well-appointed, and I loved the way each pool/gathering area had its own specific atmosphere. Room was clean and got amazing light. I was staying by the smaller of the two pools. During the low season it's quiet and laid back-- precisely what I wanted. Special shout out to manager Tom, who made sure I had everything I needed. Had a great time overall, would absolutely recommend if you're after something unpretentious and fun!

Another wonderful stay! The landscaping is lovely & immaculately maintained. The staff is friendly & eager to please and put out a great complimentary breakfast. I love the waterfall pool next to the hot tub for a nice cool down when the afternoon temps are hot. The rooms are clean with large, comfy beds and I love how most have functional kitchens. Complimentary access to a local gym and the ease of ordering in lunch rounds out a terrific stay.

First time visit to Palm Springs & Vista Grande and most definitely is the beginning of many visits in the future. Before the trip I was burned out, inpatient, rigid, and in a funk needing a break. By the end of the trip and even writing this I'm happy, free, energetic, relaxed, grateful, and content with the present moment thanks to a glorious time at the Vista Grande Resort! The resort is a quick 5-10 minute ride from Palm Springs airport which is great because you land in Palm Springs and my zen is minutes away! From the moment of arrival, Tom welcomed me like family member returning to visit. From checkin was provided a tour of Resort. which includes three sections (quiet, social, and zen as I pictured it :) to meet new people and have your own unique experience. Based on the type of trip I was looking to have, Tom recommended a one bedroom apartment (room 57) versus my original booking in room 16. This turned out to be the BEST move as the apartment was perfect with plenty of space to stretch out, relax, and have a good time. Truly enjoyed sitting out on the front and back patio around 4am just enjoying the vibes and serenity of the resort. Also, before I arrived I was indecisive about getting a message but so glad I decided to schedule one on the first day (definitely recommend this!). The 60 minutes seemed like 120 or more and the message therapist (Sandro I believe) was incredible!! Went it was over my body hadn't felt that relaxed in a very long time so long I can't ever remember feeling this good still! Topped it off with a visit to the steam room and all my stress or controlled mindset went into surrender and I melted right into the Vista Grande Resort. As each day passed my usual routine, checklist, type mindset shifted to just waking up having tea and starting my morning off in the mirage zen section which included a hot tub, steam room, and a waterfall. This one hundred percent was the section of the resort I fell in love with the most and gave me my happy back mentally and physically. There were many times were time was lost and clear thinking of positivity was flowing. The staff is amazing as they were able to find and deliver lunch to me which was a nice touch and was another reminder to truly don't worry about a thing and live in the moment. Breakfast is also included in your stay which is another reason to not leave the resort at all! Will echo previous reviews to "Just book it!" you absolutely will not regret a single second at Vista Grande! Whether with friends, partner, or solo like myself you will no doubt have the time of your life and meet good people. Would be over the moon if I can make it back this year but I'm looking forward to my yearly visit going forward.
