This place was a gem! My husband and I came to Palm Springs for a memorial and to visit family. We chose Dive because of all of the fantastic reviews and it did not disappoint us. It a charming place that caters to couples. Very conveniently located but a definite oasis from the crowds. We would definitely stay again!

Pretty little oasis in the middle of busy hot Palm Springs ... lovely landscaping, nice pool, tasty breakfast included, great service ... who could ask for more? The Orchard Suite has a private little courtyard with a small putting green and hot tub ... nice additional outdoor space. Great spot!

We booked at Dive based on prior reviews and because we liked the look of the courtyard pool area and that it was a small boutique property. From check in to check out we were totally pleased with everything. The staff were extremely friendly, small requests were taken care of quickly, and the overall ambience was exactly what we had wanted. The proximity to downtown is great while the bit of separation keeps the noise down; when we were enjoying the courtyard we really felt that we were away from the hustle and bustle (notwithstanding a bit of traffic noise from the highway). All in all a very pleasant stay and we would both return and recommend.

Perfect location for a birthday weekend with our party renting out the entire hotel. Plenty of space for poolside relaxing, catered dinner and the breakfasts were great. the staff was awesome and so attentive! Would absolutely come back again!

I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the linen sheets in our room. We were in number 8 and while the room was small it was comfortable and probably the most quiet. The staff were very accommodating and I had no complaints. They even gave me an electric kettle for hot water. The pool was nice and warm.

Small but beautiful with a lovely courtyard, pool area and plenty of quiet places to hang out day and night. A little road noise but they overcome that with water features. Great for a couple of nights or long weekend. The staff went over and above.

We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay at Dive. Our room was spacious, quiet and VERY clean. The staff was friendly and responsive to all our needs. It is within walking distance of a few spots (Purple Room, Caliente/Reef Bar, Mr. Lyons) but you’ll need to Uber or drive a short bit for shops and restaurants in the downtown area. We used the complimentary bikes to explore some terrific mid century modern homes very near the inn. This is a great place to chill…our private patio area and the shared spaces offered comfortable seating both inside and out. If you are looking for a serene, intimate spot to unwind after exploring all the Palm Springs has to offer…this is the place.

Looks like motel 6 from outside. But, inside is very pretty. The rooms are very small but, clean and nicely furnished. Small pool but, the loungers and fluffy towels are first rated. Breakfast is very good. Make sure to pick some grapefruit and oranges from the tree by the pool. They are very tasty. Overall, very small property but very comfortable and everything is provided.

We've done a lot of trips to Palm Springs and have been to the usual suspects - Ace, Holiday House, Sparrows, etc. Dive is a fine boutique hotel, but that's exactly how i would rate it - it's fine. Staff was super nice, but there were clearly issues with training them (for instance, undercooked hard boiled eggs, thick and soupy coffee, etc). Things you should have no issue with if you're paying $500+ a night for a basic room. Service was slow at the pool which is a wasted opportunity for them to make money. We even were charged for an item from the mini bar (beer) that neither of us could even drink if wanted to (I am gluten intolerant and my wife is pregnant). The shower was not adjustable and was higher pressure, which actually kinda hurt our skin if it hit a sensitive spot. No big deal breakers - but little things like that are weird in a pricey spot.
Positives - super nice staff. Pool was great temp and the pool chairs and umbrellas were all great. Daybeds were awesome to lounge in. Staff was very nice (just slow). Room was very clean. I think this room/experience should have been $300-350 night. $500+ felt a little aggressive for this.
