We traded in with RCI and had an email conformation and points deducted from our RCI account. When we tried to check in the resort had no record of us. We showed them our 3 email conformation from RCI and it still took a huge amount of time to get a room, which they would only confirm us for one night until they subsequently worked it out with RCI. I have traded our timeshare for 30 years and have never had this happen or been so inconvenience. Also, prior to us checking in we booked an extra night to extend our stay by one day (about $250). Palm Canyon had that reservation on file. We made arrangements to rent the same unit for the extra day, but, that day, housekeeping bang on our door and walk in on my wife who wasn't fully clothed and told her we needed to vacate, we weren't suppose to be there. In any event, after a discussion, the house keeper leaves and security shows up telling us we need to vacate (we had already paid for the extra night). At the end of the day the resort figured it out and the front desk apologized. The point is, whoever is in charged shouldn't be allowed to manage a shoe store let alone a resort of this size. Yeah, after an 11 hour drive the thing you don't want to hear is that they are at 100 percent occupancy (stagecoach music festival) and they don't have a reservation for you, a big hassle at check in. The carpets looked dirty but I am not sure the were because my white socks remained white. They definitely could stand to upgrade the carpeting. Issues with house keeping another matter, I'll leave it there.
