Booked a $230 one hr. deep tissue massage with Mary at the spa. She was amazing! Truly one of the best massage therapists I’ve encountered. The spa itself was a bit run down and did not meet my expectations as far as sauna, steam room, locker room and general area. They had a sad little counter with water, one kind of tea and a few snacks. The pool was nice and we enjoyed the yogurt parfaits at the pool cafe. For the price I wouldn’t go back until they update/renovate the spa but the staff were great. It was also strangely cold throughout the spa. They had space heaters in a few places. Maybe there’s an issue with the air conditioning but we were both shivering while waiting for our massages in the relaxation room.

When we arrived at the resort, we dropped our car at with the valet, and unloaded all of our suitcases to take into the check-in desk lobby. When we checked in, we were told that we needed to go get our car to drive to our suite. Went back to the valet, and reloaded our luggage. we commented that it would’ve been nice to know that we were having to drive to our suite, and the valet told us that they did not have an up-to-date list. In the unit, our fire alarm was hanging off of the ceiling by a couple of wires, The tables in front of the sofa were rusted, and one of the lamp tables had a leg missing. The suite smelled very musty. We had to open a door to air it out. The next morning there was a roach in one of the bathroom sinks.

Poor room maintenance. On a recent stay I had to change 4 rooms. The first room had a broken shower fixture, the second room's toilet wouldn't flush. The third didn't have hot water. Finally the 4th room worked. I was exhausted from moving rooms. The location and hotel is nice but I feel some of the maintenance is down. The self parking exit seems to not be working. You have to hit the call button as the key swipe isn't working. The beds are nice. The staff was friendly enough, and the evening manager was helpful. They offered to comp my parking.

I was looking forward to my stay at Sawgrass Marriott to attend a Bruins game with friends. Unfortunately, this Marriott was not up to my previous experiences. Firstly, when checking in at 3:45 pm it took the booking manager 15 minutes to find a room ready, which was just above the outside dumpster and emptied at 7:30 am. The room was not really clean and the towels were very scratchy. After the game we went to the lobby bar for some snacks and cocktails. The bartender got our order wrong and added extra items on the bill and became indignant when questioned. Additionally, the drinks were awful; wrong alcohol or very little. I don't know what happened to this hotel, but it has gone downhill since last year's visit.

I was traveling with my husband for his business at Sawgrass for The Players Championship. We had a lovely villa room with patio. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The spa is the best kept secret. The staff there is wonderful and attentive. There’s a beautiful lap pool that no one seems to know about! The food provided at all the events has been delicious. For such a large property, the employees from the Starbucks in the main lobby to the spa make it such a personal experience! A relaxing trip for me!

We only stayed for one night but we will certainly be back! Check-in was quick, I just wished the agent shared more about the resort. We stayed in the main tower and the room, including the bathroom, was very spacious. Shout out to Mark at Sips (Lobby Bar) he was awesome! Made us feel welcome, and the glass was never empty…Thank you! We had brunch at 1912 on Sunday morning. It was lovely! They had live music, solo guitarist/singer who was wonderful. The sound was perfect, not too loud, you could hold a conversation with no one having to raise their voice! Our server Brandy was on top of it, she was great. The Sous Chef, I believe her name was Melanie, made rounds and stopped at our table. She gave us some suggestions on what to do in the area which was helpful! Made a quick stop at their rooftop bar….what a beautiful view! As I said, our trip was short, but looking forward to visiting again.

I arrived at 8pm midweek. My Uber pulled up to the front and I was the only guest there. 2 bellman were standing nearby chatting and glanced up at me briefly. My Uber driver popped the trunk and as I walked back to it I expected the bellmen to assist (keep in mind I'm a woman "over 40"). They did nothing except watch me wrestle my heavy suit case out of the trunk. Because of my Bonvoy status, I was upgraded to a suite. It was large, but the room was very sp****ly decorated. It felt odd- like they weren't done with it. The bathroom had zero amenities other than a bar of soap and kleenex in a broken plastic cover that should be thrown away. There was shampoo/conditioner in the shower. It felt very chintzy for a "nice' resort. I didn't fall asleep until after 2 am because of loud, drunk, rowdy guests on the grassy area below my room (I was on the 5th floor). I tried turning my fan on high to help drown it out which helped a bit but not completely. I was then awakened at 8am by the loudest leaf blowers I've ever heard. I looked down and they were preparing that same grassy area for some event that day. I'd say I got a solid 5 hours of sleep. The last thing I'll mention was ants in my bathroom on the counter. I must have killed 40 of the little buggers. I work in corporate meetings and I can tell you I would NEVER recommend this property to one of my clients. There are so many other superior options.

Reserved an upgraded feather-free room and they missed it so we had to switch rooms immediately after checkin to an older room. Next morning, shower was a drizzle so we asked that it be fixed, along with TV. We had a massage at the spa (delightful) the next morning so showered at the spa and when we went to shower in our room on checkout day the third day discovered we had no hot water and tv still did not work properly. Complained to manager all 3 days and nothing. I wrote a complaint afterwords and was told that they would make the room unavailable and fix it, little help to me. They gave me 35,000 points which is less than 1 night's stay and totally insufficient for a room with no workable shower. I am a lifetime Marriot Platinum member and a Marriott Visa cardholder and got no response from either Chase or Marriott when I contacted them directly. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
