Twin Oaks Hotel

A lovely little hotel next to M1, very convenient. Great service brilliant fresh full English breakfasts. Rooms a little small, but comfortable... with a nice hot shower too

Lovely Sunday Lunch as usual today.................food delicious .the chef/food server/restaurant ladies/reception staff all very friendly and efficient; it does get very busy so you will need to wait a little while but it is worth it!!

Some of this stay was as advertised, a modern hotel with luxury decor. I didn’t eat here but the menu sounded delicious and was reasonably priced. The reception staff were helpful and friendly whenever I spoke to them. I had booked a room with a spa bath - as a treat and more expensive for the room than I might have paid for a stay otherwise. However I was disgusted after using the spa bath when I discovered numerous black particles had been emitted by the jets. It was too late in the day to report it to the staff as they do not provide a night service, so I approached the receptionist next morning and she took my details to pass on to her manager. Shortly afterwards I was offered a different room with a spa bath. I declined this and the manager was called and came to the reception. The managers manner was not pleasant or professional. When she arrived at the reception desk she didn’t acknowledge me or make any eye contact, let alone apologise for the problem. She was straight faced to the point of appearing sulky. She spoke only to the receptionist who repeated to me what the manager said to her about a different room with a shower, which I accepted. I was not offered any refund even though the room was cheaper. I had looked forward to my stay but I don’t think I will ever want to book a spa bath again in any other hotel/apartment. I’m just hoping now that I don’t develop any sort of infection.

We haven't been for a while so we decided to have a treat . When we arrived at 3:30 the table was ready for us, seated n served. Could not fault the service and quality of the food, at all. Excellent value for money top notch experience. Thank you.

An absolute pleasure and catered for by delightful staff, considerately trained, each having an excellent customer facing, caring manner. Accompanied by a diverse menu to provide the finishing touch. Thoroughly recommended for future stays, business or otherwise.

Cold shower in the morning, not good

The location of this hotel makes it perfect for us when heading on further north. Although it is close to the motorway, it is beautifully quiet. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We would particularly like to commend the helpful and friendly staff. We chose to eat in the restaurant in the evening and the choice was very good and of excellent quality.

Went on Saturday for the comedy night and it was brilliant!!!! Great venue amazing food (pork cobs with roast potatoes,gravy and crackling)and very good value for money,and as a added bonus they had cruzcampo on draught definitely would recommend A********

Went to the comedy night event, cracking nights entertainment, nice food, good service and a top line up of comedians, fully recommended, keep your eye on the diary.
