Disappointing Sunday Lunch to celebrate my Auntie's birthday. Eat here if you want your meals brought out at different times with undercooked parsnips and vegetables. Furthermore, not all meals came with cauliflower cheese (2 out of 5). The staff did their best by providing more parsnips but embarrassingly, 3 helpings of cauliflower cheese were brought out after our meals were eaten – no point! On a plus point – the pint of Doom Bar was both satisfying and deliciously moreish.

Me and my friends stayed at this Hotel for the weekend and the room looked great, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean, the staff were friendly, a good selection of drinks in the pub and a wide range of food as well. Would recommend staying here.

Really good value of money Affordable price, excellent location,Quite smooth reservation process. Rooms were very clean,warm and modern. Great breakfast as well. Me and my friend would surely choose it again next time we visit Pangbourne.Highly recommend!!!

Stayed here last night with my friends. The beds were comfortable, and the facilities reasonable. The room recently refurbished and very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff, great pub for food. I highly recommend this hotel, will stay again

I am 6ft 4 and was placed in attic with sloping ceilings and beams kept hitting my head shower room and bathroom very poor, no head board on bed due to slop of roof so pillows kept falling down the back
I have stayed here before and found it to be good value for monie but on this occasion it has made me question of I should look elsewhere

Stayed one night, thank god! Downstairs looks beautiful. Booked due to rooms shown on website. Turns out these are family and there are only 2/few of these rooms. The rest of the hotel needs renovation. Room tiny, radiators not working, extremely cold. Like shut down pontins room. Curtains thin with brown stains. Mdf as bed headboard, Plug sockets dangerous, lamps not working, toilet dirty, barely any toilet paper, shower barely working. Staff nice enough, they brought up a portable radiator. Breakfast was ok in the lovely decorated restaurant downstairs. I think people come for the restaurant only. For £115 for a night it was overpriced.

Great location and friendly staff but the rooms are tired, falling apart and not clean. Our 2 bed room has stains on the carpet, a cracked floor tile in the bathroom, stains on the walls. The rooms themselves are clearly very old like the building itself but there’s no sign of keeping them feeling charming and old fashioned but still clean and functional. If it were a budget price we had paid some of it could have been overlooked but for nearly £300 for 2 nights it was no where near good enough.
