I had conflicts with my hotel bookings and end-up staying at this hostel instead. I stayed at the men’s room good for 4. We were only three during the stay. One was a foreigner from London and the other one is a Pinoy from Tacloban who was in Bohol for the international fun run and who was a loud snorer. Oh life in a hostel.
But overall, the stay is still good considering the cheap price.

I didnt like the noise from generator near family room.
And loud music during the day, too much. The Food was good. The Beach was not for swimming, you need to go to Alona. But Alona is more noisy.

Affordable, fun, and lively! Mad Monkey Hostel exceeded expectations. Enjoyed the foam party and welcome drink. Only drawback: 1km from Alona Beach. Recommended for budget-conscious travelers seeking a social vibe! 4/5 stars)
