Great location of the hotel, surrounded by nature. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the sounds of the nature. Everything was clean, staff was welcoming and professional, room was very comfortable.

The hotel is very special, you can feel the historical memories in every steps. It is very clean, foods are delicious and you will stay in forest! It is amazing to have this experience. My family and our friends loved to stay every year!

Great picturesque location. Large comfortable room with big balcony, getting the afternoon sun. Very clean but looks a bit tired, could do with a paint and update to the public areas but not a big issue. Very friendly and helpful staff in the cafe/ terrace. Outdoor pool is out of use (bit of a blot on the horizon) and even though there is signage saying heated indoor pool it was very cold. Shower in our room needs replacing. Couldn't use the overhead shower but the handheld worked well. Breakfast had a good selection but the hot section was cold on both mornings we were there.

Really lovely hotel, I love the history and the antique style of the hotel. Not to everyone’s taste, but I enjoy that kind of thing. The breakfast was ok.. hot food was very cold. Coffee wasn’t the best. Our room was right under a generator that was going all night so it was very noisy all night. One of the bath towels had a poo stain on and I didn’t notice it until I had finished drying myself so I had to have another shower. No bath plug so my 5 year old had to have a shower. Could do with a deep clean but I’d say 7/10 experience. Staff were friendly. Indoor Pool was freezing so didn’t even bother and the sauna and hot tub was broken. Despite this I Would stay again. Lovely views throughout. Nice historic place.

Certes, ce n'est plus le lieu d'antan qui a reçu tant de célébrités mais il a su garder un certain charme. L'endroit est calme et reposant. La chambre est spacieuse, propre et confortable. Le repas du soir a été un régal, service parfait, personnel attentionné et souriant. Bon rapport qualité prix. Petit déjeuner varié et de qualité. Petit bémol la piscine intérieure n'est pas chauffée donc bien fraîche en avril.

Un hôtel construit dans les années 1930 qui était très en vogue, recevant des célébrités désormais tombées dans l'oubli, Telly Savalas, Monseigneur Makários II, des têtes couronnées comme le roi Farouk et autres présidents. C'est désormais un hôtel vieillissant avec de mauvaises isolations phonique et thermique. Les installations datent, mais l'endroit reste tout de même confortable. La piscine intérieure est accessible mais la température de l'eau est un obstacle. Pas de problème de stationnement car l'endroit est situé dans un parc gigantesque ce qui lui confère un calme et une vue imprenable. Le petit déjeuner est digne d'un 4, voire 5 étoiles. Peut être aurez vous comme nous la chance de rencontrer un vieux bonhomme sympathique, propriétaire des lieux, collectionneur de voitures anciennes qui nous a présenté sa Porsche, sa Chevrolet de 1930, sa Mercedes des années 1960, sa vieille Rover V8 et sa Riley des années 1960, véhicules eux aussi vieillissants. Un endroit qui reflète une certaine nostalgie entretenu par les vitrines emplies de coupes et trophées et photographies des personnalités.
