Loved our stay in our studio room, it was only an overnight stay but the apar**ents, the owner Manolis & his attentive staff made us feel very welcome.
Dinner at the Kastro Restaurant on the premises was superb and we really enjoyed the rustic but elevated local cuisine!
Sorry we left without seeing you Manolis, to say goodbye for now!

Good, clean rooms, you will find everything you need. AC and everything else worked flawless. FREE wifi actually worked well. So the price is super fair and the owners are very very nice and welcoming. We would always choose this place over one of the bigger hotels - and we've seen many. We can also recommend their restaurant next to the apar**ents. The best food we had in crete. And don't worry - there is no noise from the restaurant. (You want the make a reservation, the place can be busy for a reason) Parking is also easy - just across the street.

I could only say good words about the hospitality and the great time in Kastro Apar**ents. First, the owner and his family welcomed me as they knew me for many years. The owner's son Giorgios helped me with my luggage. They are warm and very kind people. When I opened the room door, a fresh aroma hit me and the room was fabulous. Modern and cosy design and the bed reminded me of the good old traditional days with curtains on the sides. The room was clean and tidy. Downstairs, located the Kastro Restaurant the owner invited me that night to have a dinner. Modern Cretan cuisine as it's best. I had grilled fish that night; it was delicious with all the flavour and natural juices of the fish. Slow tempo Greek music was in the background, and the a**osphere was ideal. The staff were fantastic always there for you. If anyone wants to spend a few days in Rethymno, relax in a cosy apar**ent with a fantastic sea view and eat a delicious meal in Kastro Restaurant, then I highly recommend it. Thank you, Manolis, for the great hospitality and time. I will come back!

Spacious, retro decorated 1 bedroom apar**ent, lots of space, period furniture, air con, modern refurbished 5* bathroom. 10 steps from the wonderful restaurant with the most amazing family of staff and food. Cretan hospitality at its finest. If you want authentic Greek hospitality then book here.

Spectacular apar**ent with all kinds of amenities. We took half board and it was amazing. Dine in the restaurant and they bring you an impressive breakfast to take it on the terrace of the apar**ent. Thank you so much.

For many years, the Kastro Apar**ents have been our regular second home on the island of Crete. The comfort and cleanliness are excellent value for money. We see sensible modernizations almost every year. The tavern, which belongs to the family business, is also the best in town and the surrounding area.

A flawless performance for Kastro Apr**ents. We spent a week there as a couple in May 2021. Magnificent apar**ent: very practical because intelligently designed, very good quality materials, and elegant and refined decoration, which remains in an authentic local style. The kitchen is also sufficiently equipped to cook for 4 if necessary, with pretty and coordinated dishes. Family business where father and son put a lot of heart into the work and pay particular attention to every smallest detail. Not to mention their sympathy and kindness, which take nothing away from their indisputable professionalism. Very good level of English for everyone, which greatly facilitates communication. In short, we were delighted with our stay and if we go back to Crete, we will definitely come back!
