Maitai Express Tahiti

The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly, hotel location is good where you can easily find some food to eat.

Water pressure is weak and cold water and hot water are not controlled. If you request to use mwo, you have to pay to use it. The location is good and the front is kind. no maitai but moneytai 수압이 약하고 찬물과 더운물 조절이 안됩니다. mwo 사용요청시 돈을 내야 사용할수 있다고 하네요.. 위치는 좋고 front는 친절합니다

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a package tour. The hotel is central to everything and walking distance to the cruise terminal. We had a standard room only, found it to be very hot, no milk provided, beds were comfortable, check -in was absolutely slow, so many people were waiting to check-in and only 2 staff, as they know they have so people to check-in should be more prepared for this. NO POOL. If I had a choice I would not pick this hotel to stay in more then 1 night.

Great for a Short Stay – Convenient & Friendly We stayed here for just one night after flying into Tahiti before catching the ferry the next day. The location is excellent — close to the ferry, restaurants, and shops. The hotel was clean, felt safe, and while the rooms are on the smaller side, they were perfectly fine for a short stay. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for its convenience and ease of access if you’re stopping over in Tahiti

Small room, breakfast nothing special and we had to pay. No eggs or anything warm, just bread items and no fruit.

This has “express” in its title, so don’t be expecting too much. Papeete is a stop over city while people get on their cruises, so that is the main function of the hotel. It was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There are places with live music on both sides of the hotel, so from Thursday through Sunday it will be loud at night. Bring a sleeping pill if you are a light sleeper. The housekeeping staff was very kind, but every day they forgot something, whether it was towels, toilet paper, fresh glassware, or emptying the trashcan. Don’t do the breakfast at the hotel. It is 33 xpf per person, and totally not worth it. Even the clerk checking us in let us know not to do it! Go to Café Roti instead. The personnel at the front desk were mostly very friendly, but there were different levels of competency. One of the young ladies could barely understand English. Another one couldn’t/ wouldn’t answer our questions and deferred to her morning colleagues. She seemed untrained. The time we found there were no fresh towels I called Reception to let them know, and the clerk asked me if I was coming down to pick them up. No, please have someone bring them to the room. She seemed surprised. So I think there might be a training issue here. We hoped to get a late checkout because our flight was not until 9 pm, but the hotel was fully booked and they needed our room. They told us we could have access to a transit room to take a shower and change before the flight. To call it a room is a stretch. It is a stuffy hallway where the janitorial supplies are kept, with two restrooms that include a shower. No chair to sit so that you can put on your shoes. I killed three mosquitoes while I was there. It was kind to let us use it, but don’t have any high expectations. The hotel has available washers and driers that we discovered while getting ice, we were unaware. For 5 xfp Housekeeping will give you two detergent tabs. I would have packed less had I known in advance that there was a machine on site, and brought my own pods.
