Aucun porteur pour les valises à notre arrivée en taxi, nous avons dû tout porter nous-mêmes jusqu'àla réception. De plus, notre chambre donnait sur une rue très passante et bruyante à cause de la circulation. L'isolation sonore semblait inexistante.

An old hotel in need of renovation. The rooms are large, and another plus is that it has a pool. Avoid rooms facing the road because you won't be able to sleep due to the noise. The price is excessive for its age, so I would look for other options

This hotel has a great location in the heart of Papeete, Tahiti. It was clean and comfortable, and staff were friendly and helpful. Downsides: Emergency vehicles used the street that fronts the hotel regularly with sirens blaring. The good thing is that they seemed to turn off the sirens after about 7 p.m. or so, so sleeping was not an issue. The hotel can badly use some maintenance. Our unit had peeling wallpaper and cracked tiles. We had to exchange our electronic room keys 3 times due to them not working.

We were extremely happy that we booked the Hilton pre-cruise. Couldn’t do 4 nights here. Buzz boxes and wheedle-wheedle cars echo along the road. One good thing, it was very central.

Property exterior is definitely dated and needs some maintenance/ updating.
Room qas spacious and clean.
Staff was very friendly and efficient.
Next door restaurant has very limited hours.
Very convenient to ferry a little farther away from airport

Two patio doors both door locks were broken. One in bedroom already had a stick jammed in the door to lock it and when we noticed the other door didn’t lock we called and were told no one could fix it until the next day so we jammed a ironing board in there and wedged a chair against it. They fixed it the next day with another stick- WTH! We are paying over $400 a night this is crazy. There is no safety box in the room. The shower flooded the bathroom all the time, extremely bad design. They don’t believe in face clothes. The kitchen is not stocked with a microwave, coffeemaker or anything to wipe your hands or dishes with. Can’t use the pots and pans because the teflon is so scratches and peeling on them. You only get water the first day you arrive. We paid for “Seaside” only to find it faces the sea BUT tons of buildings in front of it so there is no view. Just a little misleading. A lot of their ad is misleading

The lock on the patio door in the living room was broken and when we advised the front desk, they said they could not fix it until the next day. So we used the ironing board and a chair to secure the door. When they did come to fix it, they just put a stick in to jam the door instead of fixing the lock. The wooden patio furniture was not even useable. The wood has no finish on it and it is dilapidated and is all black. So is the actual cement patio. The kitchen is not stocked properly and there is just a hole in the wall where the microwave used to be. It says it has a coffee maker, but it does not. There was only a kettle. There was no dish soap, no tea towel and no napkins of any sort. The toilet did not work properly. I don’t believe an explanation for that is necessary. The advertisement says that there is a mini bar in the room and that there is a bar at the pool, which there is neither of. We paid over $1800 Canadian to stay at this hotel for four nights. We certainly did not get a $400 plus per night hotel. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
