We really enjoyed staying here. This hotel was a Doubletree a long time ago and then became something else. We are SO glad we gave it another try. Our suite was large and comfortable. We went out for the day on Saturday assuming there would be no maid service because our stay was so short but when we got back several hours later our room was already serviced. And the cookies......

The people who work at this doubletree are really nice and helpful. The facilities in the common areas and the pool are really nice as well. I was very disappointed with the suite we rented. It need new carpets long ago and made the room smell bad. The walls and bathroom had scoffs all over the walls, the toilet leaked. Time for an update in the suite because at over $300 a night the condition of the room was embarrassing. We won’t be back to these suite rooms. Too bad because the people were great.

The adage, “First impressions go a long way’” soured my two-night stay. The receptionist was rude and seemingly incompetent. I was not greeted as a Hilton Honors member, not offered a cookie, given an accessible room I didn’t request, and I was not given breakfast coupons for which I paid. I did talk to the manager but I don’t know if it did any good. Otherwise my stay was done, but poor customer service upon check in left a bad taste in my mouth.
