The adage, “First impressions go a long way’” soured my two-night stay. The receptionist was rude and seemingly incompetent. I was not greeted as a Hilton Honors member, not offered a cookie, given an accessible room I didn’t request, and I was not given breakfast coupons for which I paid. I did talk to the manager but I don’t know if it did any good. Otherwise my stay was done, but poor customer service upon check in left a bad taste in my mouth.
