This is a fabulous destination resort on the Nicoya Peninsual though it comes up as Puntarenas. If you take the Naranjo ferry, you can walk to the hotel with light luggae in 10 minutes. The grounds are gorgeous and exclusive, and it has its own beach and pier. There are many birds and iguanas sharing the property. They have many relax areas on the beach, under the trees, and by the pool.
The restaurant serves high quality food with pleasant service. The bar makes great drinks and smoothies. The resort price is very reasonable for what you get.
This resort is best if you have your own car, and if not, you need to plan your shuttle transfers carefully in advance. There are no local taxis or Ubers to use and calling for one starts at $50.
Naranjo is more North, so it would make sense if you tour southern beach towns first and this on the way up to Nicoya, Tamarindo, and Liberia.

Wonderfully chill place with excellent food, and beautiful grounds. Been here a few times cause the first time was so good. Less than a mile from the Playa Naranjo ferry. Beach is on the Gulf of Nicoya so you don’t have a sunset but the “golden hour “ is still very beautiful here. Wait staff are very friendly. Pools are really nice and large. No TV’s and the mini fridge is for wine, but each room has a back porch with a couple chairs and a good ceiling fan. Owners are Ticos, and very helpful for arranging tours. Playa Blanca is next door.

The most relaxing hotel stay ever! Gorgeous property and view that is extremely private. The staff goes out if their way to meet the needs of the guests.

I couldn’t think of any other place that I would like to stay. It’s a little far from the airport, but if you take the ferry it makes it a lot better. Once you take the ferry across to naranjo, The ferry is about a 3 minute drive to the hotel. The staff is so kind, food is delicious. The location is incredibly calm and serene, a beautiful get away from the touristy crowds.

None of the rooms have an ocean view. The rooms backup to the highway so road traffic at night is noticeable. The staff arraigned a boat excursion for us. Thanks

I can never say enough warm words of how my family and I enjoyed the beauty and serenity of this absolute magnificent hotel, location, stuff, beach, gem of hotel. This boutique hotel with its lovely gardens, paths, pools, restaurant with fantastic food.
Amazing décor and design in every corner both in the rooms inside and in the public places. Costarica is one of my favorite countries and OPacifico is one of my favorite hotels in costarica.
I highly recommend it!! It’s absolutely wonderful!!

Great resort stop on our tour of Costa Rica. The rooms, pool and restaurant met all our expectations. Special call out to Reynaldo and the staff at the bar for taking good care of us. We will be back!

Clean and silent rooms with comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful and made an effort for us. Nice and well-kept garden. Good food. Relaxed a**osphere. We are very satisfied . The beach is somewhat rocky, but the rating must be the highest.
