Residence Spuma di Mare PUNTI POSITIVI: -1 POSIZIONE - Gli appartamenti distano a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro storico di Gallipoli,raggiungibile con una piccola passeggiata (che non dispiace). Il Residence è situato sul lungomare della città,quindi fronte spiaggia. Si possono scegliere lidi privati o spiagge pubbliche. -2 PARCHEGGIO- interno alla struttura e custodito (a pagamento). Ma fuori alla struttura sono presenti strisce blu e strisce bianche. -3 DISPONIBILITÀ OPERATORE- Ragazzo super cortese e sempre pronto a fornirci indicazioni utili per il nostro soggiorno. PUNTO NEGATIVO: -1 PULIZIA - L'appartamento,in un primo momento,appare pulito ma se ci si sofferma sui dettagli, si possono notare numerose dimenticanze, come: NON pulizia del balcone (abbiamo trovato un cucchiaino di plastica da caffè ancora sul tavolino, probabilmente dei vecchi ospiti) , peli da barba sparsi un po' ovunque sul balcone,sanitari non perfettamente igienizzati e polvere. Gallipoli però è bellissima. Consiglio vivamente a tutti di visitarla, anche perché piena di locali turistici e gente cordiale. Voto finale per la struttura? 7.5. Un buon voto,ma si può sempre migliorare.

El personal es encantador, siempre dispuesto a ayudar y a esforzarse para que tengas una estancia agradable. La primera noche perdimos la cena porque llegamos tarde, pero al día siguiente nos prepararon comida para llevar. Queremos hacer una mención especial a Adriana, quien hizo que nuestra estancia fuera aún más placentera, ¡un 10 para ella! El hotel está muy limpio, con una decoración encantadora, y la habitación era amplia y acogedora (la cama era muy cómoda). En cuanto a la comida, probamos los desayunos y las cenas, y ambos fueron deliciosos, con ingredientes frescos y típicos de la región. Incluye bebida (algo que no siempre ocurre en otras medias pensiones) y el servicio es a la carta, con un menú interesante que permite elegir entre un primer plato, un segundo y un postre. La ubicación es ideal para explorar la región de Salento, con estacionamiento privado y una gasolinera cercana con buenos precios de servicio.

We booked Palazzo Colombo (which all of a sudden appeared to be owned somehow by Palazzo Presta), and first negative surprise that ONLY appeared AFTER the booking completion, is that breakfast is served in Palazzo Colombo , meaning you wake up and when its 45 Celcius under shade, you need to sweat walking almost 500m to the other building. The people that are at the reception (in both establishments) are seemingly polite at first glance but upon any special request, they need to ask the manager/owner , that prefers to be put of reach during weekend, meaning that if you request something on Friday, it is most likely you will (if at all) get an answer on Monday. In our case we got answer on Thursday, meaning 6 days later, when we were already 2 stops further away. Thats not nice. The breakfast is amazingly poor and none pays attention to your preferences even if you repeat it again and again (in italian) but instead they do what they are used to. In my case, they did not pay attention to a G6PD allergy and despite asking, they served inappropriate food that if i was not asking all the time , i d probably be already in hospital ER. The check out was a nightmare as we had to again go to the other establishment, none helping us with luggage, under 39 degrees celcius. Mind you that parking is another huge nightmare and you never know whether you ll find your car in tact, after spending probably 40 mins to find park place !! (Any time of the day) We are lucky to be travelling 15 days every month across europe and beyond, but never had such an experience so i thought i need to inform potential clients, as its not always the case that its part of the Italian south that is even sweet at times, as we stayed and we still are in an amazing establishment in Matera, but really, keep your money for elsewhere and dont spend it there, as the owners clearly only care to rip you off and not respect you as deserved. All in all : - front desk friendliness : 7/10 - overnight cost : 4/10 - value for money : 2/10 - relaxation mood : 3/10 - breakfast : 2/10 - facilities : 4/10 - parking 1/10 - accessibility for disabled : 0/10 - aftersales service : 1/10 All in all, there are way better establishments at an even lower price that you wont believe it. At that price range, Palazzo Colombo or Palazzo Presta should offer 5* service and not mediocre 2*.

This is without one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The point of difference about this hotel is the excellent customer service from all of the staff. The manager Simone is always present, talking to guests to ensure they are happy. He is a real gentleman. Also special mention to Alessandro on reception. Check is was quick and efficient but importantly everything was explained to us. The hotel is spotless throughout. The cleaning staff work tirelessly. Rooms are cleaned twice a day. Breakfast consists of pastries, fruits, cooked items, fresh breads, cereals and salads. Oh and fresh orange juice which is squeezed in front of you. Dinner is served a la carte and you get a starter, a main course, a second course and desert. You also can have antipasti at the start. Each course consists of either a fish, meat or vegetable dish. The food was excellent and authentic. The hotel has a great swimming pool with a life guard. Also has a terrace on the front overlooking the sea where you can sun bathe. Never had a problem with getting sun beds. The room we stayed in (324) was spacious and had a sea view. Super comfy bed, great shower and toiletries are provided. The hotel has a deal with a local beach at Gallipoli. We paid €22 for 2 beds and a parasol. Fantastic beach and free shuttle to and from the hotel. The hotel offers various excursions. We hired a car from a car rental just 2 mins up the road. I would recommend hiring a car to explore Puglia. Overall a wonderful stay at this fabulous hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We will definitely return.
