The price/performance ratio is not as good as Atlantis in Sanya.

This review pains me to write as I’ve been coming to the Atlantis for 20 years (since I was 10yo). This will be our last trip. Tensions are very high right now, Wife on verge of breakdown. Atlantis is not helpful. Atlantis views its guests as cash cows, not as human beings. When you actually experience a real issue, good luck to you! The air conditioning in our room has been broken for two nights in a row. We have an 18-month old son and it’s causing sleep challenges for us all. I’m writing this review at 4 am after waking up for the 3rd time in a pool of sweat. They have attempted to “fix” the AC in our room twice. Our room is 80 degrees despite being set to 66 degrees so clearly the attempts have failed. The second person who came to fix it told us the motor is broken and someone from the AC team would be right up to fix it. 2 hours passed and no one came to replace the motor. I called 4 times for status updates and each time I was told “they are on their way” except for the 4th time when I called to request they come in the morning because the baby was finally asleep. They responded “I’m surprised no one has come yet.” I’m feeling so helpless as I lay here sweating at 4am. Wife miserable. Baby miserable. There have also been a magnitude of other issues along the way which I don’t have the energy to write about at the moment but will later. This is all very sad, this place used to be incredible and my favorite place on earth. It is on such a rapid decline now. No wonder it’s about to change ownership, yet again.

The food was very expensive with the gratuity and taxes. And the food wasn't that great to begin with. Room charges are crazy high, with $8 each person gratuity and $77 resort fee. Every water related, yes the beach too closes between 5pm -6pm. So you'll have to hurry and cram everything into the morning times. All the adventures dolphin swim etc cost $225 per person for all the adventures. Which is crazy unreasonable priced. There's cheaper resorts that offer more for less. Save your money.

Disappointing Experience at The Cove, Atlantis Bahamas I reluctantly write this review to provide feedback to management for the improvement of future guests' experiences. My husband and I stayed at The Cove at Atlantis, Bahamas for two nights, expecting a somewhat luxurious (at least compared to the rest of the resort) experience in a high-end setting. Check-in and Initial Impressions: Our arrival and check-in were smooth, and as an Executive Platinum Marriott member, I appreciated being offered amenities (no upgrade was offered), choosing a bottle of wine to be delivered to our room. However, the subsequent handling of these amenities was disappointing. Service Failures: Despite enjoying the amazing waterslides and a delightful dinner at Paranza (the grouper is phenomenal!) , our evening was marred by a lack of turn-down service (seriously? no turn down service at 1K+ per night??) yet somehow...someone came into our room to remove our wine glasses. Attempts to resolve this simple issue through housekeeping and room service were met with incompetence, rudeness and transfer after transfer, wasting over 90 minutes of our precious last evening of our short getaway. After giving us a lot of attitude and runaround, they CHARGED us for the glasses which we never ended up using since it was almost midnight by the time we received them. Communication Breakdown: The inability of staff to promptly address our needs, coupled with contradictory responses and unprofessional behavior over the phone, left us frustrated and disappointed. This level of service does not align with the luxury status and pricing of The Cove. Mismanagement of Special Requests: Our stay at The Cove, Atlantis Bahamas was limited to just two days, during which we expected flawless service to maximize our brief getaway. Unfortunately, this was far from the reality we encountered. Despite anticipating a seamless experience, a special order that included macarons was mishandled and omitted, despite clear documentation from the hotel confirming their inclusion. This oversight resulted in unnecessary time spent rectifying the issue during our checkout process, which was frustrating given our limited time at the resort. Positive Aspects: Despite these setbacks, the physical amenities of The Cove, such as the pools, beach, and entertainment options, were enjoyable. The on-site staff we interacted with in person were courteous and accommodating, which makes the systemic service failures all the more disappointing. Conclusion: Our experience at The Cove, Atlantis Bahamas fell far short of the luxury and service we expected and paid for. The cumulative effect of multiple service failures, from the mishandling of special requests to the disrespectful treatment over the phone, cast a shadow over what should have been a special occasion for us. The $100 compensation offered did little to acknowledge the inconvenience and frustration caused, especially considering our substantial expenditure
