The Coral at Atlantis

We insisted to stay in house for at least one night to enjoy the facilities. Room cost expensive without breakfast included. Overall okay

While this resort should have been the "highlight" of our trip to Nassau, some things happened during our trip that made us reconsider if we should stay here again if we were to ever return again. The good: the property have lots of wildlife, plants and water park to keep you entertained while you're here. Variety of food options in resort. The bad: While the food is average about $30 per person per meal, the taste is mediocre for what you get. Older property, some things did not work well in our rooms, i.e., Loud AC, broken hairdryer. The really bad: Got charged to my room for something we didn't use we're still trying to dispute. Hotel staff doesn't ask you your last name, just your room number to charge to your room. Seems like anyone to charge anything to your room.

I think that everything is ok

We had a nice, short trip to the Atlantis resort. There were plumbing and water issues, but the overall location and experience was enjoyable.

Kids pool water was dirty. It made my skin reacting, they wanted $255 so a doctor can see my foot and tell me what their pool did to me. The jungle slide was closed. The surge slide was closed. The challenger slide was closed.. long lineups on other slide. Waited 40 per slide for 2 slides that’s 20% of the day wasted waiting. We could have gone to any other hotel pool and had the same fun.

This was by far the WORST hotel experience I have ever had in my life. During our stay, we were most likely bitten by bed bugs，the bedsheet is not clean at all . After a few days, my entire body became extremely itchy, covered with countless red bumps. I could not sleep for two nights because of the severe itching. It was unbearable. Later, after we come back to the US and seeing a doctor, we were told it was very likely caused by bed bug bites. What made things even worse was the complete lack of proper medical support. The so-called “nursing service” had no medication available and no real doctor on site. We felt completely unsafe and had no choice but to cut our trip short and return to the United States. My child also woke up with a swollen ear, which was very alarming. The bedding was clearly not clean. When we requested to have the sheets changed, no one responded or took action. On top of that, the food safety was extremely concerning. After eating at the hotel, both of my children started vomiting repeatedly—one of them vomited seven times before we could even get back to the U.S. This has been the most terrible and stressful travel experience we have ever had. We reported everything to the hotel and were told they would investigate. It has now been two days, and we have received absolutely no response or follow-up. It is clear that this hotel only cares about money and not about the safety or well-being of its guests. We will NEVER come back.

Great place for family vacation! We had a great time and can’t wait to come back again! Love beaches, drinks and friends. Love Bahamas!
