Me and my boyfriend stayed in the hotel as first guests after it was renewed and with new owners. Everything was amazing - staff, rooms, food, everything. They thought of all details. Reception desk has two ladies which are the kindest people ever. Helpful in any way, always looking for a way to improve our stay even more. We were there through the Easter holidays. Owners kindly invited us to have lunch with them, so thoughtful. So if you've read the last years reviews, ignore them. The new owners give the best possible experience you can have in a hotel. I'm looking forward too stay there again.

We didn’t choose a hotel, first we bought a tour, and then I started reading reviews and the more I read, the more upset I became. They complained that there is a fee for a hairdryer in the room, there is no kettle, you need to pay extra for the refrigerator, pay for towels, the rooms are cleaned 1-2 times a week. We were pleasantly surprised right from the first day. We were met at the airport and brought to the hotel at 15:30, by which time lunch had already ended. At the hotel we were greeted by friendly staff and the girl who took our passports and suggested we go to the bar where we could order from the menu. We ordered salads and pasta. When they were brought to us, they were, one might say, not large, but huge portions (photos in the comments). The cocktails we ordered were great (photo). We were given a card for the room, which was on the 3rd floor. The room is beautiful, hairdryer, kettle and tea, water in the refrigerator, all this is included in the price of the tour. A huge balcony with a table and chairs overlooks the sea, because small white cottages were built in front, but this does not spoil the view of the visible sea and palm trees. Rooms are cleaned and towels are replaced DAILY, if you want to take additional towels for the beach, they are not paid, as they wrote, but you just need to leave a deposit of 10 euros, because many did not return them. You return them and receive your deposit. The beach is 50 meters from the hotel, the hotel has a swimming pool and sun loungers; at sea, of course, you will have to pay for a sun lounger for 2.5 euros. As for food, this is not Türkiye, but everything here is 100 times tastier. You won't go hungry, the food is varied. The most tender fish, meat, bacon, rolls, pizza, potatoes of all kinds, pastas, milk, vegetables, fruits, everything is there. As for alcoholic drinks, I read that they complained about beer, I don’t understand why? There are 5 types of beer here, plus bottled beer. The guy at the bar prepares delicious cocktails that cannot be compared with Turkey. Whiskey, rum, tequila, everything is in stock and all this is included in the price of the tour. I read that ice cream is only for children, but this is all fake. A variety of ice creams that you can grab at the bar. The hotel is 2 km from the center and if you want to walk for 25 minutes, you can take a city bus to the center. I would like to thank the hotel staff for the wonderful emotions and impressions that we are now getting from our stay at this hotel⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visited in June and have only just comprehended what happened. We arrived and I believe we were the only guests in the hotel. This was a dream come true to me at first… until I realised there was NO BREAKFAST BUFFET. Each morning we would go to breakfast, hoping there would be a buffet. Every time we asked for help nobody understood English . They kindly offered to make us breakfast, but the food they brought out was disgusting. I actually found a packet of bread on the side where the buffet should have been, which was out of date. Everybody seemed oblivious that we were guests. Empty pool bar. They stocked the pool bar with drinks in order to take a photo ( i think for marketing purposes) and then unstocked it. The air-conditioning unit on the roof of the hotel was very loud and interfered with our sleep so they moved us to a room on a lower level .The worst part of it was when the hotel manager entered our room without permission. My partner lost his patience with the man , we were offered a free drink as an apology. The entire experience was very strange. The hotel was a ghost town.I am not sure why. They made no effort to make us feel like we were guests in the hotel. It was almost like they had no idea we were arriving. Please avoid booking this hotel if you want a somewhat normal hotel experience. Please see photos attached of an empty buffet - empty unstocked pool bar and below standard ‘made to order’ breakfast when they realised they had guests on site!

Relaxing hotel with great views and close to the beach. The hotel was very quiet as it had just re-opened , so the all inclusive was buffet for breakfast but a menu for lunch and dinner to order from. The pizza was amazing and Greek salad delicious . Drinks where good , the cola a bit like Aldi cola but fine. The pool was lovely , with plenty of sunbeds . Our room was on the 6th floor so views where amazing with sea views no extra charge . Room was cleaned every day and very very thoroughly . The staff where very helpful and spoke mostly French and Greek , some did speak English so no problem . Hotel was clean , bright , plenty of space for parking outside. The beach is a lovely bay , turn left out of the hotel and follow the road 50 meters to the left and you can`t miss it , sunbeds 2 euro 50 cents. To the right is a large supermarket , where you can buy almost anything and good priced too. Further along is a few restaurants , we tried them all . Car hire we used Green Motion hire with 700 euro excess , cost was £170 a week for Group C . Top level of the airport , departures entrance , outside and left is a stop for them , collect from airport and 3 minute transfer. Car was clean , fuel return same as , refund to card was immediate upon return. Try visit Ayia Thekla beach , it has been re developed well , fairly quiet with warm waters and the restaurant was good food , the ayia thekla omelete tasted great. Again 2 euro 50 for a sunbed. Overall the hotel was great for the price and we had a great time.

The cleaning staff was not good. They didn't clean at all the first day and the second day they cleaned but didn't leave any towels at all. I called reception 3 times in the range of 30 minutes and i had to go find the manager to ask for towels. The worst part it was that when we returned to the room after our day out, the door of our room was opened, meaning they cleaning staff left it open. Anything could have been stolen. If it wasn't paid online i would have demanded to do not pay for this was a serious issue. The breakfast was ok and fresh but not much quantity. For me thats fine.

I stayed at Captain Pier before, a few years ago. I had excellent memories and wanted to stay there again. I am not upset or angry about our stay. I am just disappointed cause I wanted so much more from a hotel that you pay €200 + per night AND you had all those nice memories. To sum up: The room wasn’t ready by the time we went there even though I gave them a call 1 hour prior to our arrival. Even though we were waiting for apx. 30 minutes to get to our room we were given the wrong room and we had to change to another one because they made a mistake on the people (we let that one slide) My daughter was supposed to sleep on a camp bed as a third person. The wind was blustery, and the temperature dropped quickly. We wanted to have a hot shower before heading out, but the water was almost freezing. The pillows must have never been changed before. That must go back at least 6 years. You could feel the inside of the pillow and how they turned out. The camp bed had no blanket, and my daughter was freezing, even with the doors closed. No extra blankets were available, and we covered her with our coats and towels. Breakfast was EXTREMELY basic for a 4-star hotel. We ordered a frappe, one Nescafe and a salad. The waiter couldn’t speak neither English nor Greek! Eventually, they brought us something like a Nescafe, with hair in it, something like a frappe and we are still waiting for the salad. Canceled everything and left. I will just never stay there ever again. Extremely disappoint
