Rodostamo Hotel & Spa

We have been given the warmest welcome and excellent service from the moment we arrived. We took a tui flight from Bournemouth airport. (That is another story and a bit of a nightmare, note to self book, speedy security next time.) we arrived at lunchtime and had a lovely lunch at the Pool side restaurant. The pool is really good size with plenty of comfortable, good quality sunbeds and some sunbeds in a water pool. We had an evening meal in the grill just inside the hotel entrance that belongs to the hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff work between the hospitality venues and get to know you well very quickly. The service is first class attentive but not intrusive. Food is excellent quality and always well presented. Breakfast buffet service is perfectly calm, and I thought the selection was first class and the restaurant is lovely. It would be nice if they opened the invisible curtains more often, they may be constrained by a little wind. We were able to hire a boat from 35 Boats, just opposite the entrance for a lovely day on the water from my 65th birthday treat which I thoroughly recommend doing. This is a very quiet resort and not much in the way of evening entertainment. This is a rest and recuperation holiday venue. They have an excellent gym with another pool. There are a few good quality restaurants within reasonable walking distance be prepared for a bit of a climb. This works well for a long weekend getaway for a rest and recuperation. What a truly wonderful week my family and I have spent in this fabulous hotel! First and foremost, the service was outstanding - from the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming. Raphael escorted us to our two bedroom villa with private pool and was charm personified. The villa was spacious, modern and with stunning views over the bay and marina, and was kept immaculate by the cleaning team. Whilst we mainly dined in Corfu town (so charming!), or, visited fabulous restaurants for lunch in the day (Agni Beach rocks!) the breakfast buffet was excellent and a meal in the poolside restaurant was first class - the shrimp risotto was truly memorable. The hotel pool is magnificent - must be close to 50metres and the planting, view onto the bay is gorgeous. The (free) personal trainer in the gym was helpful and good fun. The hotel reception team arranged our hire car, organised restaurant bookings and were always genuinely happy to make our life easy. There is also a great boat hire place just outside the hotel (run by a lovely lady) and you must take a trip to Agni Beach and dine at one of the restaurants if you stay here. Yes, the Rodostino hotel has delivered in spades - great location, wonderful service, we will most certainly be back. Quality.

This is a really lovely hotel, I would say it felt more like a solid 4 star though rather than 5. The service was exceptional. The staff were always keen to help and nothing was too much trouble. We only had the breakfasts included so cannot comment on the dinner but the breakfast quality was excellent. There was not much variation between days but what was offered was excellent. The food by the pool was also excellent quality and reasonably priced. The rooms were nice and up to date, they just did not quite feel up to 5 star standard. They were clean though and were cleaned daily. The pools were also very nice and a good temperature. The only let down is the surrounding area. As soon as you leave the property, the roads are full of trash and stray animals although I get the impression that most of Corfu is like is.

Very good hotel

We had the most wonderful 10 days at the beautifully appointed Rodostamo hotel on the East Coast of Corfu . It is located at Kommeno, a lovely bay about 10km from Corfu town (approx 30 mins by local bus or of course taxis would be able to be called from reception). We can't rate it highly enough, everything from the rooms , which were comfortable and spacious , ours was in the main building with its own private terrace and heated splash pool but there are also villas located on the hillside which can be reached by a small funicular railway or steps for the energetic.. the views from up there across the bay to the marina are stunning. The main pool is large and there is a restaurant adjoining it where we ate delicious food several times, lots of loungers and seating areas around it too and always plenty of room. There is also a restaurant/Taverna at the front of the property overlooking the water which serves equally delicious food (Avalle Bistro) The breakfasts were amazing, every choice you could want and more besides, it was hard to choose from so much wonderful fresh food, from cooked items to an array of pastries, savoury and sweet , sliced meats fruit and cakes. Coffee and tea and juices in ready supply. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, from the reception staff, restaurant and housekeeping nothing was too much trouble and the standard of cleanliness couldn't have been better . The rooms are beautifully decorated as are the public areas with lovely artwork , the whole layout and design of the hotel makes for a totally excellent 5 star experience. We can't wait to go back..

We booked the Rodostamo as part of a BA Holiday package, and we stayed for 6 nights, breakfast included. This was the most peaceful hotel we have ever stayed in. Definitely 5/5. All the staff are so kind and helpful, from the front desk, the breakfast room and the outside bar. We were in Corfu for a wedding of a friend but made a mini holiday around the wedding day. The hotel is clean and modern and very quiet when we visited. It is adults only. We went at the end of May just before the UK half term holiday. All the hotel rooms have aircon, a large shower and balconies. The hotel provides white towels for the rooms and grey towels to use by the pool. There is bottled water replaced in the fridge each day, as well as a safe in each room. Free wifi throughout the whole resort. There are options to upgrade to suites or private houses on the complex which have a hot tub or a private pool. The main pool for the hotel is extremely large and great for doing lengths. There is also a smaller hot water pool and an onsite gym and spa. Also a 24 hour shop. The hotel puts on a free bus to the popular beaches nearby, and there is also the local Corfu bus just a 5 minute walk from the hotel which is about €2 a ticket. I would definitely return, I can’t recommend this hotel more. The staff are a delight. Thank you

The most friendly staff we have ever found in a hotel. Super clean and lovely decor. Extremely comfortable. The food was fantastic and the cakes were delicious! Cannot fault the holiday. Would definitely revisit. Variety of accommodation available for couples or families
