This hotel is lovely. Rooms - clean, comfy beds, great shower. They are on the small side but there’s plenty of storage to maximise the room space. Balcony was quite small, with a couple of chairs, a small table, and a wall mounted clothes airer. The views of the sea are much better from a higher floor. We were floor 5 and whilst we could see the sea, we were overlooking the hotel roof. Location - on a lovely stretch of beach and great for swimming in the sea. There are a couple of restaurants/beach bars a 5 minute walk up the beach. Other than that, it’s a 15/20 minute drive to visit a nearby town/village. Food - we were half board which included a buffet at no extra cost. There was a great selection and everything seemed fresh. We also ate at two other hotel restaurants where we got a €15 credit per person. Meze had lovely sharing dishes and I’d recommend. The Asian restaurant was great too. We had sushi/sashimi which was very fresh, plus some other sharing dishes which were lovely. I’ve ****** was that the restaurants had run out of our chosen wine on 2 nights. Beach bar - this was the only bar open during our June stay. The 2 bars inside were closed for some reason. The beach bar closed at 11pm. The service was too slow, drinks were left sitting on the bar getting warm before taking them to customers. The staff were working hard but I think they need more staff. Pool - great size, and plenty of loungers. I’d definitely be happy to return here.

My three generation family of 14 just finished a wonderful stay at the Domes of Corfu. I cannot think of any way that this stay could have been improved. The front desk manager Alex and the operations manager Stavros bent over backwards to assure our stay. The staff at the Agora Restaurant treated our entire family as though we were their own family. The location adjacent to Glyfada beach was spectacular. The rooms were well designed and very comfortable. We can unconditionally recommend this wonderful resort.

Currently here with my partner, on a 'babymoon' and 6 months pregnant. We had issues with a leak in our room for two consecutive nights. Reporting these issues on an ongoing basis to the staff. Though no manager ever available. Maintenance tried to fix the issue, but the bathroom would be soaked every time the room above showered. At 9am on Day 3 of the issue we asked to move to an equivalent room. Instead we were given a room at 4pm which can only be described as a downgrade. It is an ajoining room (the other room that is taken must be the actual bedroom). What they gave us was the living area. What we've been given to lie on is two rock solid sofa 'beds', and as a heavily pregnant woman, I'm currently writing this awake at 1am as unable to sleep on it. The room also has a dated bath, that is so narrow you cannot turn, again, both challenging and unsafe for me. I have photos which I'm happy to share. I feel terrible for my partner as he has been doing his best to get this resolved, we are now going into day 4 of having to try and negotiate a room that doesn't have a leak and is accessible for me. Can't believe we have paid thousands of pounds for this. The manager we finally spoke to was so dismissive. Again happy to share names of who we dealt with - we've kept a note. I would honestly suggest not to waste your money here. Its both chaotic, and you are made to feel like the problem. I wouldn't ever describe this as a luxury stay. I have been so upset with how this break has turned out. Update on review: We were moved rooms today. Now awake because there is an issue with the plumbing. Constant water running in toilet - videos available. No maintenance available until morning. Noise is so loud that we can't sleep. Receptionist gave us ear plugs but not helping.

Wonderful 3 night stay , the staff were fantastic. We were treated with great thoughtfulness and kindness , our room with the pool outside was great . The bay the hotel was in was beautiful and spa treatment was excellent. We ate at Mezze 3 times, as I’m hopeless in a buffet ( buffet looked very nice) situation and it was a great refined fish restaurant with a fantastic situation overlooking the beach . Thank you Sophia and her team ! There was a €15 contribution to the bill per person if you were on half board and chose this option Lastly thank you to Marilou in reception who booked a taxi to collect other family members from airport. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely holiday , we feel very lucky to have stayed :)

We went here for our honeymoon and it was definitely 5 star treatment from start to finish. The hotel is stunning! We had a swim up room sapphire suite with Prosecco and treats greeting us the staff were so lovely and the place was immaculate with housekeeping calling daily. My only one down side was there was nothing happening in the evenings, once you have dinner and a few drinks that’s it back to the room , I think the hotel would benefit with a bit of entertainment or something for the evenings to keep guests happy! But all in all we had the most amazing time and would return!

As a child-free couple we were surprised at how little we were disturbed by the many many kids there. By and large they were fairly well behaved and we were able to find quieter areas. In general we found the hotel to be badly managed , terribly short staffed and the existing staff in great need of training. Mostly they are inexperienced and really do not know how to deliver the level of service expected in a hotel of this standard or this price point. We had a number of issues on arrival which were only partially rectified thanks to the tour operator rep. The standard rooms are very badly designed and pretty small. There are no drawers in the rooms and the safety deposit box was at ground level. Not accessible if , like me, you find it very difficult to repeatedly kneel on the floor. The service in the main bar was not good. One night we waited 30 minutes to be served and a further 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Every night it took over 30 minutes . We like to have a drink after dinner and would have spent much more time and money in the bar but the service was so poor. The food in the buffet was OK but could have been better. The hotel no longer operates its own bus service to Corfu Town meaning that unless you get a taxi at 45 euros each way or use the public bus which only runs twice a day, you are very isolated if you do not drive. This was a huge disappointment to us as it was integral to our decision to book this hotel and was advertised by the tour operator at the time we booked. The beach was fantastic. Come on Domes - you can do much better than this!

Overall, a good experience but be aware, as a family hotel and if you’re expecting an adults only, peaceful hotel, then this isn’t for you. In fact in places it felt like a big crèche with babies crawling around the buffet stands, toys all over the pool and parents of multiple nationalities ignoring their kids pulling at plants, irrigation hoses and on one occasion, electrical flex that ran through raised plant beds. This was an observation so most will say, it’s just the parents etc… it’s a review, so take it or leave it. Plus points were the food and staff - excellent food throughout, including CORE the lunchtime water front restaurant. The selection and replenishment at the buffet was also superb and overall food cannot be faulted. Equally so of the attentive and friendly staff. The hotel itself was nice but tired in places, mainly where it hadn’t been maintained over the close season. The gardens were lovely too. The usual sun lounger towel fiasco was prevalent with the quiet area full of people-less towels prior to breakfast and as normal, they sat vacant but for towels for a few hours. The beach is superb and a real plus - clean water, no rocks or pebbles by the hotel, and a lovely area. Overall, the hotel has a lot of excellent strengths as above. We had a room in the lower 200s, which sit in the floor beneath the buffet restaurant. So no alarm needed as from 0730 onward the scraping of chairs was enough to raise you from your slumber! Would we go back as a couple - no. We would have preferred a peaceful experience but it was far from it. For families it’s excellent however.
