Quiet village suitable for families, slightly retro but clean rooms, lots of greenery, swimming pool not very large but nice, impeccable restaurant, excellent and varied food all served at the table (no small feat), somewhat sp**** entertainment, there is a lot not much for children, the only flaw is that paid beach service is not acceptable for a village!! If you want a relaxing holiday it is the ideal place, Recommended!!

It is the ideal village for those who want to relax in the peace of the wonderful garden, which with the shade of its many plants I even preferred to resting on the beautiful beach, the latter below the structure and reachable with a comfortable lift and a very short walk. The cuisine is very refined: all the tasty but delicate dishes at the same time served at the table with only salad vegetables and fruit (very fresh) left in the buffet allow for a truly high-quality experience and many guests wanted to compliment the chef and his team. All the girls and boys who work in the dining room, as well as at the bar, are very kind and kind. After a while I understood why I met several guests who return again and again to this village, which also remains strategic for moving comfortably by car or train along the other places on the coast.

This year too I was with my husband in my earthly paradise. An enchanting place full of plants and flowers. As for food in 10 days. I put on 1.5kg. despite doing physical activity and all this thanks to Francesca😂 All the waiters very attentive and ready to meet the guest's needs Ottaviano the manager of the dining room very friendly always with a smile Since it was almost the end of the season the entertainment had halved leaving 3 guys , I call them the 3 crazy ones😂 with whom I had a lot of fun Thanks to Gabriele (he knows why) What can I say, after having been there for several years I really think I'll go again to my paradise It's to conclude BUT HELLOOOOO😉

Village with spectacular views. Courteous and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast and meals. Cozy and clean rooms. The solution for going down to the beach with lift and shuttle service is excellent. Recommended village.. experience to be repeated!

La Pizzuta ein schönes Hotel Bin eine Woche in diesem Hotel gewesen. Leider musste ich ziemlich lange(6 St.)auf meinem Zimmer warten. Habe sehr nette Menschen kennengelernt wie Antonio und das Team welche uns bedient hat. Super leckeres Essen was am Abends zum Tisch serviert wurde. Frühstick konnte man sich selber nehmen. Alles Corona konform. Sehr schöne Garden und die ganze Anlage mit super Panorama aufs Mehr. Das Mehr sehr gut zu erreichen mit dem lieft und kurzem weg. Im Wasser sehr große Steine deswegen Schuhe sehr zu empfielen!sonst Wasser und Umgebung sehr schön. Pro Zimmer und Person 1 liege mit Schirm(aber nicht bei allem)DERTOUR ja. Mein Zimmer war sehr einfach und alt aber sauber. Ich habe da nur geschlafen und fühlte mich trotzdem wohl. Ich bin sehr gut erholt nach Hause gekommen.

I was a guest of the village during a period of bad weather and rough seas. We expected to be able to spend the time at least with entertainment (tournaments, music, etc.) This was not the case: the entertainment consisted of half an hour of pilates and music to listen to from the internet in the evening! Five animators were there but perhaps they were on holiday too! For the rest, the location is very beautiful with a well-kept garden. Good cleaning. Basic cuisine with a little Calabrian flavour. Very friendly barman, shame that a small bottle of Heineken costs 6 euros! Ideal for families and seniors! Perhaps a little more hospitality wouldn't go amiss: for example, during the entire period of the stay, due to bad weather, it was not possible to use the partner beach. On the last day before departure, when asked if we could use an umbrella for just a couple of hours and pay half the price, the answer was that we had to pay for the whole day! They are small gestures that would have made the difference in terms of welcome and hospitality!

More than a village...4 stars, perhaps an Appatahotel given that there is no entertainment except for children and despite the good will of the few very young animators, many of them are new to their experience so, lacking almost everything, there was very little socialising. forcing those who were in a couple without children to have to 'go out' every evening so as not to go to sleep at half past 10 in the evening. The space for entertainment is very small and insufficient if there had really been 7/8 tables on the sides of the pool occupied every evening by very adult people for personal card tournaments. Pool always full of children even without the help of a lifeguard...Antonio was kind and helpful but had set times but late (5.30am) so dives ran at all hours by the pool without supervision. It's a shame because the village is immersed in a beautiful inlet with breathtaking views and well-kept gardens but then... it lacks everything else that a 'village' with entertainment should provide from muscle toning to the water gym to group games that are used to socializing'. Games almost exclusively dedicated to dozens and dozens of children. In fact this is a place purely for those with small children and the elderly. With couples like me we have all encountered the same discomfort. The descent to the sea with an 'elevator' was shocking but then 300 meters of ascent awaited you which created a lot of problems for the elderly, those who had walking problems or simply those who were loaded with toys, mattresses, beach bags and strollers had to go back to the lift for 300 meters all uphill. The small 'machine' went down at set times and very limited times forcing you either to go back up at half past 3 or directly at almost 7 in the evening, absurd. Mid-August you couldn't change lunch for dinner like we did said by them every other day and as it is done everywhere even on August 15th... a normal lunch an extra aperitif that's all if you don't pay another fee in addition to the one already agreed they haven't organized anything else for the 15th only then a small and kind 'concession' after even personal complaints with a spaghetti dinner at 10.30 on the 15th with short fireworks almost at midnight when the August bank holiday was now over... but all this is done everywhere in the evening and at night of the 14th. On the other hand, I cannot, however, I must also reiterate that all the staff were very kind and helpful, from the reception to the ladies who tidied up the rooms to the lifeguards who, however, were absurdly missing from 1am to 4am, the time when you couldn't access the beach not even to the only bathroom for which they had the key and having the problem that to get to your room there was a lift and a climb. Metre Ottaviano and his splendid boys were also very kind and patient but this did not make the meals any better. abundant and more varied indeed. Simple repetitive meals and often cooked as best as possible, nothing of the typical Calabrian cuisine... little choice, almost imposed meals

Well-kept village a few steps from Tropea. Plants of every variety in every part of the village. Friendly welcome and sightseeing tour of the whole village, little organization in the office and problems with the room. Five star food compliments to the chef and his entire team. A round of applause to the entertainers, who manage to keep everyone entertained even with little. There are some negative points: from the wi-fi and network which are practically non-existent (which in 2023 is unacceptable), the water which is not included in the meals, and the tunnel/hovel to go to the beach full of insects to be cleaned . Small precautions that could make your stay even more pleasant.

Returning to Pizzuta is guaranteed well-being! Everything is truly beautiful: the scents of the botanical garden, the flavors of the excellent cuisine, the kindness and professionalism of all the staff, the breathtaking views and the crystal clear sea! The boat trip to Capo Vaticano and the rental of canoes or pedalos to land on the nearby beaches are recommended. The only flaw: the evening entertainment could be improved.
