With a charming host, Rosemary. Excellent location. You'll note the 100 walting rating above on Tripadvisor. Numerous restaurants and attractions in easy walking distance. As well as transportation, bus, rail and taxi within a couple blocks. As well as attractions as Sacre Cour/Place du Tertre, Garnier Opera, Moulon Rouge, Rue Lepic and Rue dee Martyrs and Hausmann/Lafayette for shopping within less than a mile. Expand to 2.5 miles, the attractions along the Seine from Notre Dame de Paris to the Eifel Tower. And the pleasure of walking and dining in what feels like a neighborhood rather than a tourist attraction, housed in an apartment in a charming alcove. We've stayed only in the apartment which is quite spacious for the two of us and would work for a larger party. Though we don't cook, the kitchen is large, well stocked with cookware, and would work fine if we chose to cook in. And a couple markets withon a block or so. And several fine bakeries which we do visit. A small washer and excellent internet connection are a nice bonus. When I'm asked where we stay I resist staying with a friend for fear of costing a potential customer. You'll feel the same way. We look forward to returning.

She has even written a comprehensive guide to her favorite sights and features of Paris, a document she emails to you when you contact her. When I return to Paris, I wouldn’t ever consider staying anywhere else. The one drawback of writing this review is that that I am describing the best place to stay in Paris to other prospective visitors instead of keeping this amazing location a secret all to myself. Incredible service that starts from the moment you book, Rosemary and 52 Clichy are unique. So much more than a B+B host, Rosemary's knowledge is incredible and her advice indispensable...we managed to cram a week's experience into 5 days because we hit the ground running! The accommodation is a charming oasis in the perfect district for dining, walking and sightseeing, but with the whole of Paris within easy reach. Breakfasts on the balcony and warm welcomes after a long day's excursion enable a vital recharge to set you up for the next adventure. If you want to 'do' Paris, there's no better platform.

Run by the fabulous Rosemary, 52 Clichy provides all you need for a fun visit to Paris: great location, tasty breakfasts and a comfortable bed to rest after long days of walking around the city. We stayed for the minimum five nights, and found the process of booking the bedroom and getting to the B&B quick and easy. Rosemary a wonderful host, providing spot-on advice for seeing the sights and discovering some of the gems of the city that you might otherwise miss. Just know what you’re getting into: This isn’t a fancy five-star hotel. It’s a B&B room in Rosemary’s home. If you’re looking for a stay in a five-star palace, this isn’t for you. If you want a comfortable place to rest up between city adventures and a host who wants you to have the best Paris experience possible, 52 Clichy is for you. Thank you Rosemary!

My spouse and I returned for a second stay at 52 Clichy having had an outstanding experience a few years previous. Rosemary is a warm and welcoming host. She assisted with our purchase of tour tickets and taxi service. The bedding is luxurious! The room and apt was scrupulously clean. We felt secure and cared for during our stay. Rosemary set out excellent jams and pastries! Detailed information about restaurants, local attractions, and details about the apartment are provided. Rosemary followed up with us before we arrived to make sure we had all the information needed to find our way to her BnB. We hope to return soon!

My husband and I stayed with Rosemary while in Paris for a week. The location was fantastic and gave us the opportunity to explore so much during our stay. We shared Rosemary's 2 bedroom apartment which included a beautiful, delicious breakfast each morning and her company during breakfast and when we returned in the evenings. There is a 2nd apartment that Rosemary also offers but the temptation of breakfast each morning was too much to pass up. The apartment was very clean and nicely appointed. I did not initially appreciate the value of an interior courtyard apartment until it was pointed out how noisy street side accommodations are. I would definitely recommend 52 Clichy!

My wife and I stayed in both the B&B and the separate apartment. We had a very enjoyable stay. Our host, Rosemary, was an absolute delight. The neighborhood had easy access to stores, restaurants, and transportation, yet both places were very quiet when we needed to go to sleep. Highly recommended.

We loved staying at 52 Clichy! Rosemary is a wonderful host - friendly, interesting and with a great sense of humour! It was very clean and tidy with a beautiful view of the street and in a great location. We looked forward to her delicious breakfasts each morning and enjoyed coming back in the evenings as it felt like coming home. She made us feel very welcome. I can't recommend 52 Clichy highly enough!
