Hôtel Ginette à la Folie

I really enjoyed the location, and unique room and decor. The breakfast was delicious, looked forward to it every morning. The are 2 metro stations minutes away (Oberkamf and Republique) and also several bus stops for good access to city. Was simple to get to from airport with one bus and one metro in ~45min from CDG. It was a treat to get to use the lounge and honesty bar for a reset from the busy city, all the staff was incredibly professional. I had one issue, but it was minor- the TV would turn on in the middle of the night so I just unplugged it every time I fell asleep as they weren’t unable to fix that issue. If your muscles are sore from Paris streets, the sauna and hydrotherapy is available.

Wonderful experience at the hotel. Professional teams willing to help with any request. Room and decor immersive an incredibly high quality. The hotel brings you into its world. Had a wonderful time with my mother staying in the triple room and a great breakfast. Thanks so much to the whole team for making this special stay memorable !

Here’s a simpler version: Great location with easy access to Le Marais and the Eurostar station, making it convenient for getting around Paris. The highlight of our stay was the excellent service, especially from Nathan. He was always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. He greeted us every day with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed. His kindness and professionalism made us feel very welcome. The rest of the staff were also friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The room was a little small, but the great location and outstanding service more than made up for it. Thank you, Nathan, for making our stay so enjoyable.

Just returned from France and a lovely 2 day stay at Hôtel Ginette. First and foremost, the staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. All of them. It is important to me that  I speak French as I try to maintain and build my skills, and even though they all spoke English, they indulged me and tolerated my rusty French.  We wanted to be in the Marais so the location was great. A couple of blocks to the Oberkampf Metro, a couple of blocks  to Utopie (awesome Boulangerie), and lots of bars, brasseries, and restaurants.  The room decor is as out there as the pics you see on the web. Definitely different than most hotel decor. Thebes was incredibly comfortable. The water pressure on the shower was fantastic. No issues with room temp control.   The only strikes for us were no small fridge in the room and I saw a couple of hairs in the shower which is my pet peeve. I  hate that, but didn’t feel it was a big enough deal to drop a star.  We didn’t use the spa, so I can’t speak to that. They do have a nice eating area/lounge where you can get an espresso or cocktail in the evening.  The price was reasonable and I would recommend the hotel.

We had such a wonderful stay! Highly recommend for people with pets :) We were able to bring our two medium sized dogs without any issues and we were even offered water and beds. The staff was always very friendly and the rooms were clean. We felt very welcomed here. :)
