Apartment WS Hotel de Ville - Musee Pompidou

C'est extrêmement bien situé, en plein coeur de Paris avec transports à 3 minutes à pieds, resto, culture et dans le quartier dynamique de Châtelet... Proche de tout et très pratique !! Nous y sommes restés cet été et la chambre gardait la fraîcheur.

I am in love with this hosting! The day before traveling, I contacted WS via WhatsApp, and then they sent me the step-by-step instructions for entering the building and checking in. In total, until reaching the apartment, there are 4 doors with 4 different passwords (including an almost secret door), which made me a little more relaxed about security. Unfortunately there is no elevator, but it didn't change anything in my concept. I booked an apartment for 16 days with a sofa bed, and received an apartment with a double bed, extremely comfortable, with soft pillows. The apartment had a heater and fan, iron, refrigerator, cooktop, coffee maker, pots, plates, cutlery, glasses. In short, everything anyone needs in a home. The hall is extremely smelly (a very good mint smell) and also has security cameras. The bathroom lamp burned out, I contacted them, and everything was fixed right away. I would recommend this accommodation to everyone who wants to have an excellent experience in Paris! The location is just PERFECT! Thank you very much!

Clean and cozy apartment, We practically only slept there, but it was very nice. We needed to warm up the apartment and the heaters helped. A negative note are the stairs to get to the apartment which are really old and poorly maintained, and in front of it there is a building that totally blocks the view.

I stayed at the WS Hotel de Ville (the one on Rue Pernelle) and I was a little worried about the bad reviews I had read. I was especially concerned about the issue of entry, as many travelers said that they had not been able to enter the apartment because the codes failed. In my case everything went well. In fact, they emailed me when I was arriving in Paris to let me know that my room was ready and that I could check in early if I wanted. It was a gesture that I really appreciated because that way I was able to leave my bags there and go eat. And as for the problem of the entrance, in the accommodation on Rue Pernelle it is ESSENTIAL to receive a message from the establishment with the instructions to enter, because if not, it is impossible to access. You have to enter 4 different codes to get to the apartment, enter through a "secret" (service) door, go up some ugly stairs... It gives a bit of the feeling of being in an escape room with so many codes and hidden doors, haha. But if you receive the pdf that the accommodation sends (with illustrative photos) and you have the codes, it is easy to enter. The apartment itself is fine, the kitchen very practical and the bed comfortable. We didn't like the shower too much because it had a significant step and the screen was fixed, which made it a bit difficult to get out with wet feet. Otherwise the room was fine and we slept very comfortable. The windows faced an interior patio, so there was no noise or anything. The big drawback of this accommodation is the entrance. The secret door that I mentioned before leads to a secondary corridor of the building, which smells strange for being next to the garbage area and with a steep staircase and narrow steps. Going through it was the worst part of the entire stay. For the rest OK.

Quiet apartment overlooking the courtyard, functional and well equipped. The location close to restaurants, hypermarkets and shops (Rivoli, Halles) is an advantage, as are the various services: metro and RER B Chatelet. Several codes allow access to the apartment, which secures the premises. The WS team is attentive in offering towel renewal etc. Only downside is the arrival at 3 p.m. because my plane arrived at 7:30 a.m. but a concierge service exists nearby. I will come back for sure
