The hotel is very close to the Montparnasse train station, which is very suitable for travelers who are catching the train. Although it is located in the downtown area, it is very quiet at night, which allows us to sleep well. There are many restaurants and bars downstairs in the hotel to meet your needs for all kinds of meals. There are Chinese, Japanese and even Thai restaurants. The front desk of the hotel is very nice. When we came back at night, they said good night to us in Chinese. The room is very clean. Although it is small, it feels warm. A pleasant accommodation experience

The hotel had all the basic necessities. It was easy to get to and very convenient. I was a little bothered by the dim lighting, but overall I was satisfied.

Great location! Comfortable bed, but it was tiny and old. No air conditioning/heat (very hot in the lobby, hall, and room). Little amenities.

It's location is great for almost everything, restaurants, bars, theater, metro etc. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fresh but basic, I say that compared too other hotels. It was satisfactory but not wow.

Easy quick check in. Room basic. Easy walk from train. Bathroom only has hand towels, on the look out for a bath towel

This was a very good property. If you are looking for upscale, this is not the property for you. Like many hotels in this area you should ask for a room in the back so you dont hear noise from local cafes that stay open till midnight. It didnt bother me. Great location, woth Metro one block away. Very quaint, good service and a sufficient breakfast available for extra $10.00. Although very basic. Great coffee and good Crossants. Loved the neighborhood. Clean rooms except the shower curtain was stain with iron. Felt very good about this property.

We have no complaints about the facilities or the location, we were satisfied. When we arrived at the hotel and had to pay the lodging tax, we asked again and again because we weren't fluent in English and were skeptical about the security of Paris, but the receptionist patiently explained.

It was a one night stay as early train out from Montparnasse the next day. Hôtel clean and tidy, reception very friendly but unfortunately the room wasn’t comfortable - there was no AC (or at least I couldn’t get it to work) so it was a choice of opening the window - with the noise of the restaurant below - or a very warm room to try and sleep in.

Great staff, location and property. The Central Hotel is a hidden gem. Literally steps from 3 different train stations and the main station (Gare Montparnasse) that has trains to Versailles and Mont St.Michel saved us hours and money in city traveling. Lively neighborhood that had restaurants open at 2 am but still quiet in the rooms. The staff was helpful and courteous - Jerome, Abdy and others (sorry don't have all names) at the front desk and of course Winnie from the breakfast room who was super helpful. The family double rooms we took were excellent as we got 2 large beds with 2 bathrooms for 4 of us, which made getting ready easy. We were traveling with another family and the front staff let us use the breakfast room in the evenings (when it was empty) to sit together and chat which made the week long stay more memorable.

My friends and I stayed here for four nights and loved it! The surrounding area, Montparnasse, had a great atmosphere and great dining options, and the hotel itself was very practical and offered a lot for its price. We had a triple room, which felt more spacious than we expected, and the staff was always very kind and responsive whenever we had a question or needed something. We always felt safe in the area and within the hotel itself. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel!
